Good Location,
The location is the best as it is very near to the metro and to sagrada familia. We are there for the La merce and its nice easy walk to the Sagrada for the evening event. Easy 30 mins walk to the main attraction. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are small, but that's all we need as we are outside all day.

Good location
This is a nice hotel in a very good location. The metro is only few steps away from the hotel and it's east to get around Barcelona. We did walk to the center few times it's a good 30 minutes walk if you are up for it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a decent size and well decorated. Only down side would be there's no tea/coffee making facilities. Did not try the break fast at the hotel so can't comment on it.

too small room
the rooms that we had with our friends did not match what we had seen from photos and from what we had read on the descriptin.the room was for one person because the bed was next to the wall and its size was a little bigger than a single.also the matrass was old and not comfortable at all

Lovely staff but horrible beds
I visited Barcelona for 5 nights and stayed in this hotel. The hotel is slightly away from the centre, but is in a safe feeling area and it is really easy to get to the centre of town from the nearby metro stop.The staff were lovely and helped us to find our way around town: and had some really good tips. We had a lovely day cycling around Barcelona after they recommended a nearby bike rental shop. The room was very modern, and clean and you could see the sagrada familia from the window (just). The problem was the beds were so hard they felt like you we're sleeping on a plank of wood. It was for this reason that I can't recommend this hotel...we just didn't get a good nights sleep whilst we were there.

An ideal base from which to explore Barcelona
The Eurostars Monumental is an ideal base from which to explore all that Barcelona has to offer. The hotel is situated a little out of the main heart of the city and is set in a quiet location, with few bars/restaurants around. However, it is conveniently located a few steps away from the "Monumental" underground station, which we used on daily basis to transport us to the hustle and bustle and sights of Barcelona. The Eurostars Monumental is walking distance from La Sagrada Familia and, luckily, we were given a room overlooking the sight. All in all, a quiet hotel in a quieter area of Barcelona but well worth a visit as the rooms are well-maintained, well-decorated, with very helpful staff.
