Ok for a cheap place.
We stayed here thinking it woukd be good to stay close to PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) the hotel has no pool and the breakfast was just packaged pasteries, nothing hot. It was ok for a cheap place but I woukd probably pick a different location. The area is not too good. I would not be out at night walking around. Over all the hotel was small only double beds in the rooms, no microwave, small desks and refridge. The decor in the rooms are old. Need a much needed update and the bath rooms need it too.

Super 8 Hotel LAX airport
Good points - cheap cost, Greek restaurant, very near LAX, free hotel shuttle every half hour between 5AM and 1AM. Our designated room did not have hot water. Staff were quick to move us to another unit. Bad points - noisy. Room aircon sounds like jumbo jet. Hotel is directly under the pathway of landing aircraft. It must be about the last building they fly over before hitting the tarmac. At busy times aircraft come in to land about every minute. Curfew means no flights landing between 1AM and 5AM. Only coffee machine in each room. If you drink tea, you cannot obtain it at the motel. There are several other hotels in the nearby streets, eg Marriott. Super 8 would be 50 years old, poorly insulated against noise. Older style motel where guests' cars are driven right up to the door of their unit.

horrible matresses
This motel is getting old...It could use some handyman services at this point. And, would it cost too much to just make sure the mattresses are comfortable? It doesn't matter how convenient this place is. Or, that the price is a few dollars cheaper... It's off to find a place with better mattresses. And, a place that is better taken care of...

Very Nice Accommodations
Spent the night at this location due to distance from home and planned imbibing. Plenty of parking. No airplane noise, possibly due to distance from LAX. Busy street with many restaurant and shopping options. Room was clean (3rd floor) and colorful and included a small refrigerator.Cereal, muffins and toast available in the morning but Denny's is not far away if you want the works. Both check-in and check-out was quick and without drama.
