Perfect location for Temple Bar and Historic Dublin
Spent our first weekend in Ireland at the Paramount Hotel. Ideally located for walking the Temple Bar area and many of the historic locations such as Christ Church Cathedral and the Liffey River. Because we knew the noise level would be high at night with all the pubs and activity in Temple Bar, we asked for a room "away" from the street scene. Room 305 was very nice, yet we could hear the noise slightly - no matter, we had a wonderful stay and John at the Reservations Desk was always most helpful. Would advise bringing your own ear plugs! Great value for the location and wonderful hospitality, as well.

Great location for Temple Bar
This Hotel is ideally situated if you want to enjoy the night life in the clubs and pubs in Temple Bar. If you want to get to bed early and have a quiet nights sleep it may be best to look for an Hotel out of this area as it does get very busy and is alive until the eary hours of the morning. The Hotel has its own bar with live music and also a disco playing into the early hours of the morning on the Friday night that i stayed with friends and colleagues from work. If you do decide to stay here and want a quiet night ask the Hotel for the best room for you. The rooms tend to be on the small side and the room i stayed in had dark quite dated furniture which made the room dark. The room was clean but the back staircase would heve benefited from a shampoo and clean. There was bottled water in the room but it cost 3 euros for a 500ml bottle. There was complimentary coffee and tea making facilities and an irish breakfast in with the price which was pretty good. So in conclusion if you want to be close to the night life and just need a place to lay your head give the Paramount a shot, if you dont mind catching a cab or walking into Temple Bar there are a lot of nicer Hotels near by. Horses for courses.

Good Location nice hotel
Stayed here for a weekend away with my wife, now not being the party animals we used to be (cough cough) we should have realised that staying in Templebar Involved late nights and noise! However after a very long day, and a great night out the noise from the nightclub was very intrusive. Now the next morning when i spoke to the receptionist she moved us without any problem to the 4th floor which was so much better! the hotel is nice, clean and all the staff were great. The breakfast service was quick and food was ok. To be honest don't think i would stay again because of the noise issue! But if you not gonna be in your room to after 3.30-4.00 am it would be a great hotel for you cause of where it is

Great location!
It's a really nice hotel and the location was perfect for my husband and I. We didn't rent a car while in Dublin, so we walked everywhere and couldn't have been happier with the location. Temple bar is just around the corner of the hotel. There are lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, and even a grocery store nearby. We didn't spend much time in the room, other than sleeping and showering. You can hear people in the hallway walking by and talking but it didn't bother us too much. The staff were super friendly and they were great with holding our luggage after we checked out since we had a late flight, so we were able to do more exploring before we left.

brilliant hotel in the heart of dublin
stayed her in march this year. we were very presently surprised with the actual location of the hotel, we had thought it was further down the road and not expecting too much. On arrival we were greeted by lovely reception staff who showed us to our rooms. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed including shower gels, shampoo etc, they also had 2 bottles of water on the desk for us. The hotel is situated right next door to the Front Lounge which is were we were meeting our friends who were over from Scotland, it was perfect and the Turks head Lounge is actually part of the same building as the hotel. The price for 1 nights stay was only ¿¿¿89 for both of us inc breakfast. All in all i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for city center accommodation in Dublin
