Going to the 02, stay here
I stayed at this hotel with my wife when we attended a concert at the 02. It is only a 10 minute pleasant walk along the quay to the 02 at the point. Parking was provided but cost 15euro, I did not know this until I checked out, did not see a cost when booking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.The bedrooms are clean and set back from the hallway ensuring an uninterrupted sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with a wide and varied choice.This hotel is ideally located within walking distance of city centre, temple bar and grafton st/stephens green. We will definitely make a return visit.

Comfortable, clean friendly
I stayed a couple of nights at the hotel while attending a conference at the Convention centre 200 metres along the road. One of the airport shuttles calls (2 hourly pick-up at airport Paddywaggon tours - check the website as, at 3 euros it's a bargain).The (superior - ie standard) room was large comfortable and had what it promised (free WiFi, tea making etc). There were a number of faults (dying bathroom light, TV not working) but when I checked with other guests, this was not typical. The staff were friendly, helpful and rushed to remedy them. The breakfast was unusually good (and I am comparing with several London 5-star hotels). I did not have time to explore the pool/spa. I would stay again.

Spacious business hotel centrally placed
Stayed one night on a business trip. The location in the financial district makes it perfect for business. It is even within walking distance from many tourist attractions hence I could imagine. Visiting with the family.My room had three beds and was very spacious. It was clean and the personnel was very helpful. I didn't make it to the fitness room nor the pool but I am certain the are only further assets for the hotel.Breakfast was of course a great variation of many things. Only surprises was there was no Nutella or others things for children and childish people :-)I will return next year and use this hotel again.

Brilliant staff !
I stayed at the hotel for a business meeting and i dont think ive ever slept in a more comfortable bed, it was fabulous! Our room was overlooking an office block which meant it was vert quiet, normally when ive stayed in other dublin hotels they've been very noisy ! The staff were fantastic, very friendly and nothing was any trouble! One small complaint was the room service for breakfast, some of our party ordered room service but the breakfast didnt arrive at all ! The cocktails in the Kudos bar are probably the best ive ever had, please send your cocktail person to the Merchant hotel in belfast to give them a lesson in cocktail making, there's are the worst ive ever had and double the price. I cant wait to return to the Clarion!

Excellent business hotel
An excellent business hotel, closer to the financial district of Dublin. Every rooms has an espresso machine, free wifi and a doc station for i phone. At ground floor a bar with excellent Irish beers and a big wellness centre. At 5 minutes walk from Dublin Congress Center
