One flies all night from the US to the UK. You just want to get to your room and get settled. Well we all know that's not possible as flight arrivals are around 8am and check outs aren't until around 2pm.That said, we were assured that our rooms, or most of the 30 rooms we'd booked, would be ready by 1:30pm. This hotel had nothing ready 1:30pm OR 2:00pm. What a mess getting in!!!That all said, the rooms were wonderful. Not a single complaint from any of the 50 members of our group. The breakfast was all anyone could wish for and an excellent sitting area while dining. The restaurant offered food well into the night for a quick snack or full meal. The bar was co-located with the restaurant affording the opportunity for a libation if so desired.The hotel location is excellent. The river runs along the front and the tram is just a block behind the hotel.This would have been a 5 STAR review if it weren't for the check-in mess.

Great hotel
This is a great hotel! The breakfast was amazing and something I would recommend to many. Such a wide variety of food to choose from. The location was pretty nice as it's right on the river. The only dissapointment was the no free wifi in the rooms. Nice bar area also to relax as friends were coming back from their time out in Dublin.

Think Travellodge
Stayied for one night at great location for the 02 where we were seeing a concert. Staff and check in fine, but room was very tired. Have stayied in Travellodges that are better, and about a third of the price. Although location is good for the 02, I would stay in a better hotel - for the same price - in a more central location. Tip for those arriving by plane. There is a great bus (the 747) that runs directly to the hotel, but then also carries on into the centre of Dublin (same cost - ¿¿¿6). My tip is, stay on the bus and get a better, more central location, hotel and then get a cab to the 02. Oh yes, and the breakfast - forget it!

Great for a girly weekend in Dublin
Six of us stayed here for a night last weekend as a base for a night out in the Temple Bar area of Dublin.We arrived earlier than check in time, so were taken to a storage room where we could leave our luggage whilst we went and explored the city.We had two Triple Rooms overlooking the River Liffey - the additional bed was not a basic pullout bed but a proper single bed, which was very comfortable.The bathroom was well equipped with nice toiletries and clean towels and our bedroom was very spacious - plenty big enought for three sharing.The hotel was a pleasant 10 minute stroll along the river away from Grafton Street with all the main high street shops, plus many lovely designer stores for window shopping!The Temple Bar area was just a little further than this, where there are plenty of atmospheric Irish pubs to spend an afternoon listening to live music.The breakfast buffet was ¿¿¿10.50 and offered all the usual cooked breakfast options.I would recommend this property to those looking for a reasonable but comfortable and clean base for a weekend of fun in this lively city.

Love this hotel
Stayed here with work 3 times....really smart given the price...staff friendly. Rooms spacious and modern, bathroom smart, clean with a good shower. Coffee and tea making facitlites and decent hairdryer. Bar area is nice and food good. Very handy to Connolly station, the Point and a short walk to the shopping area. I was given a room over looking the liffey which was nice. Definetely recommend for a break to Dublin or on business.
