Great location and very friendly staff
The hotel has a very convenient location. It is just minutes away from Monmartre and close to few metro stations. The room was very cozy with amazingly comfortable beds. The staff at reception spoke great English and everybody was very nice and always more than willing to help. This hotel is perfect for a weekend stay. Also, a great baguette place is just outside of the hotel on the left side across the street! I would definitely go back.

Holiday Inn, Montmartre, Paris
About 15 years ago, I stayed at Holiday Inn, Montmartre. The hotel was very near to "Place de Clich¿¿" and there were several restaurants, minimarket and many other shops. The bus stop and metro station were there, too. The hotel was at very convenient location. The rooms and hall ways were large. This year, I wanted to stay at the same Holiday Inn and made a reservation. It turns out that it is a different hotel, several minutes uphill walking distance from the hotel I wanted to stay. The one I stayed previously has a sign of Mercure Hotel. The new holiday Inn I stayed this year is a small one, with narrow hall ways. The room was compact and clean. The front desk people were very kind and helpful. There were a few mini markets near by and the Bus #95 took us to Louvre. The Metro station is several minutes away and is at "Place de Clich¿¿".

Enjoyed our trip to Montmartre
Had a pleasant time at the Holiday Inn Montmartre. The hotel is located in the Montmartre district, near Place du Clichy (Moulin Rouge), the Montmartre cemetery and in the neighborhood of the Sacr¿¿ Coeur. The hotel faces Rue Damremont which is a quiet in the evening, and is near a supermarket and other food stores (Brasserie, Fromagerie, Patisserie, etc.), and there are quite a few good restaurants nearby as well. There are two metro stations that lead to the hotel, "Place Du Clichy" and "Lamarck ¿¿¿ Caulaincourt", but none of them are very near. That means that it will take you some effort pulling your luggage on your first day from the metro station to the hotel.Service: Quality of service is the main positive of the hotel in my eyes. The front desk service I encountered throughout our stay was probably the best I've yet to experience in European hotels. On top of that, the employees had a good knowledge of the area, Metro and RER systems and other vital information and were proactive in warning us regarding maintanence works in lines we intended to travel in. So Kudos to Carlo, Romain, and the third young gentleman who didn't wear a name tag, the 4th star in this review is thanks to you.Room: The room we were in (307) was quite small as expected in Paris, facing Rue Damremont. It needs a little paint but was just fine for our needs. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed. TV with many french channels, CNN and BBC. There's free wi-fi which is always a plus.Misc: The hotel lobby is a business centre with free internet access and newspapers (French and USA Today), breakfast is also served there for 15EUR per person, which we didn't use since there are cheaper alternatives nearby for your morning's "Pain au chocolat" and coffee.To summarize, we enjoyed our vacation in this hotel, would definately recommend people going for a week in Paris who love the Montmartre unique style to stay there.

Last minute business trip to Paris
I stayed here on a last minute business trip to Paris. I enjoyed my stay and was very well treated by the staff and liked the location which is only a short walk from Montmartre and a number of nice resterants, including a nice little veggy cafe, Au Grain de Folie, where I had dinner.The room rate included wifi which was really useful. The hotel itself was adiquate and I had a good nights sleep, the room I stayed in could benifit from a lick of paint and a spruce up. Saying that I would stay again.

Very good stay
Can honestly say we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are small but typical for hotel rooms in Paris. Clean and well kept. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much to ask.
