Not a good choice, by any stretch. Why an international airline would choose this hotel, which seems very popular with the tractor-trailer drivers, is beyond me. The restaurant was closed, so no food was available. Rooms were a bit dated if clean enough. It seems worn out and in serious need of a refurbishment. One staff member at 9:00 pm checking in a 747 airplane was not prudent.

Cold Jacuzzi for the whole 4 night stayWas told I would be charged upon checkout yet was charged upon check in. Arrived to room around midnight after driving from Georgia. I booked a smoking room. Was given a non smoking. The non smoking had a big leather couch in it.the smoking room had 2 wood chairs instead.Everytime I left the room my key wouldn't let me back in Had to go to the office everytime for a new key.When it rained the ceiling was leaking all over the place and falling apart. Saw truckers coming and going from a truck in back ..ie men getting out of the truck, zipping up their pants and getting in their car and leaving. Strange place Though I did like the quietWay too pricey for such crappy quality.

Probably a little too far from ohare for a stay and park. Very economical. We stayed for 64 plus tax, parked for 10 days, had a basic breakfast buffet, and ride to/from airport. Rather save money for the trip but there were other opportunities that would be closer.

I stayed here for a week in Sep or so in 2012. The hotel was obviously undergoing some kind of large scale interior remodel at the time; it needed it, because the place looked and felt like something in the Soviet Bloc. The lobby looked new, but it's the ONLY place where I could get their shockingly slow internet. The pool area looked somewhat sketchy from afar so I didn't check it out. The walk from the front desk to my room on the 3rd floor was approximately 3.5 miles, including an elevator that always stopped on the 2nd floor whether there was anyone there or not, and hallways with the ambiance of a ghost movie. The room was up to par with everything else there. Only half the channels worked and some were in black & white somehow (NFL Network), it looked decently clean though. The beds were unforgiving, I never got under the covers because I was roasting in that room due to there being no AC (Front desk told me the city of Chicago shuts off their AC that time of year. I don't know whether it was true or not but it didn't help my situation.). The toilet made this loud whistling sound for about 3 hours every time it was flushed, and the walls were thin enough I could clearly hear conversation in the next room. My key card deactivated 3 different times during my stay. (I was told by the front desk apparently they wipe if they are near anything metal, magnetic, if a strong wind condition came through, I don't know.) Upon requesting new cards the front desk, they didn't ask for any kind of identification they just swiped and handed the new cards over (at least they were friendly?). I have not nor do I plan to go back. After previous good experiences with Ramada, this place was a disaster; possibly with the new remodel conditions will improve and they wont have a parking lot with broken glass on it.

I got stuck overnight in Chicago when a flight was canceled, and this seemed like the best price for an airport motel with shuttle service. I had made a reservation on line via the Ramada website, but when I arrived at the property I was told my reservation couldn't be found, which was one more frustration I could have done without after my travel problems. The receptionist was going to give me a room anyhow, but when I said I wanted the same rate I had reserved at, that became a problem. I stood my gound, and after some time, the receptionist did find my reservation after all. This is not as nice as most Ramadas. The room was fairly seedy, but it was clean. They do have a free breakfast - the normal stuff, waffles, cereal, yogurt, english muffins, packaged Danish. There's a gym and a pool. The computer in the lobby was not working. The ice machine closest to my room was also not working.
