Very Adequate
The staff was very helpful. The room, although very clean, was very, very small. We had what they called a standard room. We could only walk around the bed and the bathroom was teeny tiny, even though it was very nice. We had to store our suitcases under the vanity in the bathroom. Tiny closet with two little drawers. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of variety. The coffee was awful for us Americans. It was so strong that I couldn't drink it. The location was fantastic. Just 1/2 block from the square. You can pick up the hop on/hop off busses there. La Ramblas just a block off the square. We had an inside room so it was very quiet. The air conditioning did not work at all and we slept with the window open. It was quite comfortable. The rooftop bar was a nice touch. We sat up there every evening and had drinks. We would stay here again for sure.

Barcelona City Break
Would recommend this hotel for the position being an easy walk away from all the action. The staff are very friendly and helpfully; the breakfast is excellent with an enormous choice of both hot and cold; the roof top bar was great; the room which we upgraded to was clean airy and the bed very comfortable. the bathroom was fine. No complaints at all.

Very good centrally located hotel.
The hotel was centrally located, fairly small but very friendly. The only thing I would change is there was no bath. ( I have severe arthritis ) The staff were very helpful and could recommend restaurants etc. There was a rooftop bar which was lovely although weather dependant. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean.

Good location
Very friendly staff, great location, very clean. The room was quite small. There was not a lot of room for our luggage. We had just completed a 15 day cruise so we had 2 large bags. Used the large bathroom to store one bag!

courteous, clean, comfortable and convenient
A really nice place to stay - the staff is extremely friendly and informative. We had a great lunch at a "non-tourist" tapas bar on the recommendation of the front desk gal. The rooms are clean and well kept up. You are in walking distance of many attractions/restaurants & shops - and if you don't want to walk - buses and taxis are readily available. The breakfast buffet that is included is awesome!! - you cannot go away hungry - so many selections!! - very clean and plates are constantly being refilled. I see that some people say the rooms are small - hey - I'm only there to sleep - I want to see the sights!
