Great Uptown Location
Spent a nite recently on a sister's trip to NYC. Booked on Priceline and got a great price for the area and hotel rating. Location was great...easy access to Central Park and Times Square. Lobby is lovely but not huge. Not someplace to just sit and people watch. Plenty of hotel amenities which we did not have time to take advantage of. Staff was courteous. Room was adequate. Bed was very comfy but the furniture and decor overall is showing its age. View from the indoor pool at the top of the hotel is super but not someplace we felt like we could sit around to relax and enjoy the view...so I was disappointed a tiny bit. Overall, very happy with our accomodations. Would recommend and would return.

Great location, but expensive for what you get
The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can walk to Central Park, Times Square and the subway is minutes away. But the hotel itslef was disappointing for the price. To pay over $400 a night, then be charged to use the pool, gym etc. is ridiculous. The room was quite nice, but odd lay out to have no closet. For a high end hotel, the bathroom amenities were more like a lower end hotel chain. No coffee maker, no water. Luckily there is a Starbucks across the street and a nice grocery store around the corner. The housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. Lawrence at the front desk was very welcoming, but the concierge was not helpful.Our room was quite high up, and it was nice to have 2 banks of elevators. Loved the cartoons in them.All in all, the location was the best part of the hotel.

Elegant Digs
Upscale and laid back, with a terrific location for the music and art lover, the Parker Meridian is surely in the top level of luxury hotels in New York. The staff is friendly and helpful, particularly the gentleman who helped my wife understand how to operate the inroom safe. Our guest room was nicely laid out, the bed comfortable, the TV just fine.

Amazing staff to help you !
Adinsi , the young woman at the fornt desk has a wonderful accent ! In all seriousness - she is amazing ! From recommendations for dinner, to her caring attitude and follow-up. She remembered my name, asked appropriate questions relative to my stay and was incredibly accommodating. Her individual performance will make me stay there again.
