Perfect location for first night in LA!
Several of us flew into LAX to make the drive up to San Francisco and this Embassy was great after a tiring day of travel. Quick drive (under 1 mile) from Hertz, with reasonable parking directly under hotel. Airport noise was not a factor at all. Restaurant staff were attentive.

Not bad
This airport is close to the airport so you can hear the planes ( of course). There are many hotels around it. Within 30 min of most tourist destinations. Free breakfast, indoor pool, gym with cardio equipment and free weights. Good deal for the price.

Great place, convenient location near LAX
My wife and I had a daytime layover in between Red-Eye flights back from the South Pacific. We checked in around 11am and out at around 10pm. They allowed us early check-in and even offered a complimentary managers cocktail hour that we missed because we were out enjoying authentic Mexican Food. I would definitely stay here again!

Not embassy hilton quality
The only thing good about this hotel is the location convenient to the airport and car rental drop off. (Note: If you are returning a car then checking in the hotel only has an airport shuttle so double check the rental car will drop you off otherwise you will have to return your car and ride a shuttle to the airport then catch the Embassy Suites shuttle from the airport = double shuttles to go less than a mile.My room was adequate at best for a budget hotel not an Embassy Suites quality. The beds were not comfortable at all and the pillows the lowest quality. Not to mention I was on the 2nd floor and heard road noise all night thanks to the old windows. I tried sleeping on the sleeper couch as it woudl be quieter on the interior but that was quite uncomfortable and would only suggest a child under age 10 sleep on it. To top it off my sliding door lock was broken and hotel was sold out so I had to settle for a bar to secure door. Net-net not Embassy Suites quality. Best thing was the airport shuttle in the morning. Driver was prompt and courteous. I didn't use any facilities but they do have a gym and free breakfast. Check-in and out was efficient and they were friendly enough. Place just really needs a makeover.

Excellent hotel!
What a lovely hotel. Firstly the shuttle from the airport, friendly & helpful driver. Checkin was quick and efficient, most welcoming. I arrived at 9 am after an overnight flight, and while I wasn't able to get my room at that time, I could upgrade for an extra $20 and check in straight away, which was extremely worthwhile.Suite was huge, a large lounge with TV and desk, fridge etc at the front, then through to a large bedroom with a decent sized bathroom. This meant the bedroom was isolated from the general bustle of the hotel. Small snack bar selling chips and confectionary & drinks at the side of reception. Lovely bar and restaurant on the ground floor, where I had a leisurely drink followed by an early dinner before retiring to try and get on to US time. I didn't go the the complimentary managers reception, bed was beckoning even at 5 pm! From the window you could see planes taking off and landing, but no noise from them. There was a bit of noise from the street traffic below, but nothing to concern about. Breakfast - included in the rate; eggs and pancakes cooked to order. I had an omelette which was wonderful. Some fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, great coffee and some orange juice to finish off with. There was plenty more to chose from if you wanted. VERY satisfactory!!!Restaurant - I had the NY steak, cooked to perfection, it just melted, served by the friendly waitstaff. Slept like the proverbial log, bathroom was good, nice hot shower, and shuttle bus back to the airport the following morning. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
