My favorite hotel in Europe
Loved it. Gorgeous view of the City for breakfast and close to a metro stop and many attractions. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to Rome. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. We left for a couple of days and left our main luggage in the room with no problems.

highly recommended
Great location. Housekeeping excellent. Breakfast excellent served on terrace with amazing view. Good value.Close to most sights so we walked practically everywhere. Passing the Trevi fountain each evening on the way back to the hotel was nice.

Great Location for City Hotel
The Barberini is in a fantastic location, both for attractions such as Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and the Metro station and tourist buses.Rooms small (as all in Rome are) but well equipped, clean and tidy. Maid was attentive, to the point of removing soap every day and replacing with new one, which I felt was unnecessary. Think a towel policy is needed as well as we had towels changed every day, whether they needed it or not.Breakfast was good, view from that room was outstanding...though we were slightly disappointed as we were expecting a bar in that room in the evening, which was not open (but no explanation as to why)Maid and and breakfast room staff were friendly and cheerful...reception staff less so, but all attended to our needs.Would definately stay here again.

Would definitely return
Hotel Barberini isn't perfect , but it definitely has some great things going for it. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and fresh. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views and is very well appointed. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are well equipped. The staff is not consistent with some being friendlier and more responsive than others. All in all I would return because it is centrally located and a fairly good value.

Great first time in Rome
We recently made our first trip to Rome and stayed in the Hotel Barberini. It is in an excellent location within walking distance to many attractions. All of the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was well appointed and clean. Breakfast was good and the view great from the 6th floor. The front desk staff was very helpful with dinner reservations. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
