Fab hotel
Stayed here in April, was a Groupon deal. And definately was money well spent. When we arrived, we were upgraded to Junior Suite from a superior Room. Very friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Great walk around the grounds and golf course. Could not speak high enough of this hotel. Will definately be visiting this hotel again and again.

Great hotel
Stayed with my partner and extended family at the Slieve Russell hotel during Easter weekend. Rooms were large, and the bathrooms massive by comparison to other 4* star hotels we have stayed in. One minor point - The TVs are in need of major updating! Staff were friendly and breakfast good. The grounds and views breathtaking.Although an expensive choice, this hotel was definitely worth the money spent and we hope to return shortly.

wonderful stay
my husband took me here for our wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday celebrations all rolled into one.he had a bottle of champagne and strawberries in the room for when i arrived and the hotel has left me a card and some wine and chocolates.i thought that was a really nice touch.we stayed in one of the suites to the front of the hotel.it was beautiful, the only little problem was the noise as the guests left a wedding that was in the hotel. we had a few treatments in the spa and that was heaven.i have been in quite a few spas but this has all the extras and the girls are great. the food is good and the bar is welcoming with friendly staff. i had a wonderful stay!

This Hotel has it all,
We have stayed in this hotel & enjoyed our stay .This Hotel has a very high standard's in every area .The Reception Admin staff were friendly & gave us good information re - places to see & what to do . The bedroom was spacious & very comfortable .We had breakfast ,& dinner.every day during our stay & the food was top class.& after all the food we enjoyed a stroll in the lovely gardens.after all the walking We enjoyed a drink in the bar @ night & heard some good music .This hotel has it all if you are in the area this is the hotel to stay in .You wont be sorry .but you will want to return.

Really good food..
We ate at the Slieve Russell last night. We were celebrating my wife`s birthday on the Sunday. We went straight for the mains. Wife had the lamb rump & I had the sirloin steak. Both came cooked to perfection, as we expected. We also had veg, garlic & baby potatoes.I had a Guinness, & the wife had a nice Chillean sauvignon blanc. We followed with a glazed pear tartlet & a chocolate desert , both were nicely presented & tasted great. Then we had coffees and left. The atmosphere was very friendly.The restaurant was quite busy, which surprised us both. We will return again.
