Very nice and clean hotel
The hotel is very nice, clean and well situated. The hotel staff is nice and speaks English. There are some bus stations near the hotel (100m) and a walking distance from metro and the Spanish steps. DONT miss the restaurant "Ai Fienaroli" adjacent to the hotel. It was the best restaurant of our trip and we came back to eat there on our last night in Rome.

Disappointing, plus non smoking not enforced
We stayed at this hotel recommended by our travel agent and it was disappointing. It was a fair walk to any sites, although there was a good restaurant, San Marco, just down the road. Even though we booked two rooms of equal value, we only got one nice room and one shoe box, obviously a single room with a double bed crammed in. The shoe box window didn't close properly or lock and there was an easily accessible fire escape and rooftop balcony on the other side of it. Plus, 2 of us get asthma, and the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. When we questioned this, the concierge made it clear that whilst the hotel says non smoking, if the smoker denies it, well, what can they do?? When asking about a laundrette, we were advised that there used to be one near the Rome Termini, but that was 2 years ago, so who knows? with no offer to perhaps, look it up for us? Not overly helpful.

Comfortable and friendly
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel last week. The staff (particularly Mauro) were friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a dream every night. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, as I was out visiting the ancient sites all day and crashing out with exhaustion almost as soon as I got back in the evening, but I will definitely stay here again. It provided what I need from a hotel and was close enough to the centre to be easily accessible on foot whilst being far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Mauro recommended a local restaurant round the corner which provided superb food and excellent service. I am very happy.

Friendly Staff, Nice Room
We stayed for 1 night before heading home to Melbourne, the staff were very friendly, we had a family member that wasn't well and staff were very understanding. The actual room was very clean, we had a quadriple room with 1 Double bed and 2 Single beds and there was still plenty of room to move around. Bathroom was great, shower was very good, no complaints. If I had any misgivings it would be that maybe the mattresses need to be updated, i found the single bed mattress a bit lumpy but that could be just me, the others found their mattresses fine.

Great location
This hotel is not in the centre of Rome but it is worth staying at if you want a peaceful sleep. It is located in a lovely street and an easy walk to most attractions.The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom too is quite good. Breakfast had a large variety of foods and the kitchen staff were very friendly and will make you a great cappuccino.I would stay here again as the staff were all lovely and this helps make a place enjoyable.
