Good location but!!!
Recently had two nights at Crown Plaza. Hotel is located in a central district and distance to city area as well other attractions. Lots of very good restaurants with few minutes walk. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately there access to hotel is not that great. I believe there is some work being done so one has to get off in an area away from the main entrance and drag bags etc to reception. The same goes for departure, there is no assistance from concierge to get taxis or take bags to the taxi stand area. Getting in and out of the hotel is not that great

Great Location!
I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Republique for 6 nights. The room I had was surprisingly spacious for me, my husband and toddler and clean! I loved that the hotel was right next to the Metro stop with 5 lines. So convenient! The staff was friendly and helpful.The only downside to this hotel was the lack of wi-fi. We brought our laptop and used the ethernet in the room but my husband had to go to the lobby for wi-fi and had to pay. This was disappointing. Fortunately, many parks in Paris and Starbucks has free wifi (FYI).I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Paris. Hopefully, they will upgrade the wifi in the hotel in the future.

Great staff, great location
This hotel is brilliantly located right off the metro with direct lines to most places which is why we picked it for my wife's birthday getaway. We had a club room over the courtyard so there was no noise problem and the room was spacious and very comfortable.Friendly helpful staff and the concierge was excellent at recommending somewhere special to eat and in making the reservation. Having said that there is a huge choice of brasseries and other eateries in easy walking distance.There are a few tiny niggles - like the old cigarette burn in the sofa but otherwise excellent and we will be back there next time we are in Paris

Great time was had...
Stayed there recently and had a GREAT time. Room was very spacious and clean, with generous closet space.Very friendly staff, but I must metion Samir and Christopher who were great...EVERY hotel should have a Samir. I stayted there alone and they were always great when I came to dinner or to the bar to have a beverage.Location is close to Gare du Nord, with a station very close by along with a Habitat (one of my favourite stores)Would definitely stay here again...

LOVELY HOTEL
This is a lovely hotel, very friendly concierge who will tell you whatever you need to know. The hotel is surrounded by building works but as we went at the weekend this wasn't a problem, imagine it would be noisy Mon - Fri. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and bars, where you an get a set menu of 3 courses for 19 euros. The concierge will sell you a ticket for a tour bus which you can get close to the hotel - I wouldn't advise it. It's called L Open Tour, it's rubbish, the commentary doesn't coincide with what you are seeing, lots of the same french music and didn't do justice to getting a tour bus.Only problem with the hotel: -Had a family room, which was lovely, very big and classy, it was for 4 people, there were only 2 cups, 1 dressing gown. Not enough tea, coffee etc, when we asked for more it was very difficult to get it.
