Great place to stay for a morning departure from LHR
My second time staying here and this time I had a more time to enjoy the hotel. Great restaurant choices and this time I ate at the new Asian offering but they also have a pub and an everyday restaurant. I also got to have a breakfast before my departure. Price was right but the place is a little tricky to get to. All in all, I recommend this hotel if you have an early flight. My only compliant, the pillows sucked! What is it with the UK and their crappy pillows?

In Transit Stay
Chose it for overnight stop when flying out and booked Park & Stay package which was good value.Hotel was typical busy airport hoteland room clean but a bit worn. Bed on the hard side and airconditioning/heating problematic to use. Considering it was next to the airport there was no noise problem. Staff were very helpful and efficient. You don't have to eat in the expensive hotel restaurant as there is a cosy little pub (The Plough) just next to the hotel and it provides good value home cooked food. We used the Hopper bus to terminal 4, which suited us, but be warned that it takes about half-an-hour to travel just a few miles, because it calls at a number of other hotels on the way

Very disappointing
Traveling with our granddaughters we stayed here before an early morning flight. The staff was rude and impatient. Our room had previously been broken into and the security lock was not repaired. They charged us $27 to park our car in the parking lot. They wifi was another $12 per hour. They offered no shuttle service to the airport. We were very disappointed in the value for the money.

Two Hotels with the same address - not good Holiday Inn
My review is not really about this Hotel it is about the Holiday inn at SIPSON ROAD - how bad is that two Hotels with the same name and nearly the same address.We arrived late on Thursday 2nd May from the Eurostar - the bus driver after checking that we had the right address (haha) dumped us here - surprise surprise we were at the wrong Holiday Inn, the desk staff were not the slightest bit interested. They did not offer to accommodate us or call the other Hotel to find an alternative we were sent out into the night with two suitcases each to find the local bus stop apparently down the road. . .Surprise surprise as we exited the hotel as so called Taxi pulled up "are you going to Sipson Way" he asked "Yes I said how much" Twelve pounds - twelve pounds to go around the corner!!! Now how much of a coincidence is that that he happened to pull up right then I also did not see any licences so he may not have even been a taxi. Anyway he deposited us at the correct Holiday Inn and accepted Ten pounds rather shamefacedly.Shame on you Holiday Inn for not helping any more than you did and I still find it rather odd that there was a taxi sitting there knowing exactly where we were going. . . ..Having said that we like this Hotel very much nice big rooms and nicely situated no compliaints there . . .

Glitzy lobby glum rooms
This hotel has a four star lobby but one star motel style rooms, there was one small bar of soap and shampoo only in the room. The furniture was shabby, the couch had stains. The air con was so noisy, so noisy it made sleeping difficult, the bed was nothing special. I always do park and stay this was the worse one by far. They moved my car without my consent, I was told it was in carpark E so at midnight when it was dark I was trailing around a car park looking for me car with two suit cases in tow. Only to find my car in carpark D. Not happy, two hours into my sleep after I arrived the fire alarm went off, it scared the living hell out of me it was so loud. This hotel is visible from the rd but very hard to get to.
