Excellent Hotel
I've stayd for two nights in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Wifi is for free. The breakfast is very good, just one minor issue. The coffee machine was very slow and sometimes broken. The hotel is located on Av Diagonal. There is no subway in the neighbourhood. You can take the tram or bus to visit the city.

Not bad located and functional
The hotel is located in the main business area within the city. During business hours you are less than one minute walking to the Illa Shopping Mall. However after business times there is nothing to do and public transportion is not good at all.If you have your customer here the this hotel is fine, however if you come here to visit the city you should think to go to another one.A bad thing is that there is no gym in the hotel, although it is a 4 start one.They offer free wifi, which is truth, but if you are not lucky enough to have a room nearby a wifi router your connectivity will not be good enough to be able to connect. And when you can, expect to have a bad bandwidth from 19.00 or 20.00 (When business people is coming back to their rooms)The bed is fine and I have experienced no disturbance noises at all, however, the light of TV which is in front of your bed when switched off is a nightmare. With a blue bright intermittent light in front of your closed eyes it will disturb your dream... something easy to fix by putting some dark clothes in front of it.The room is space full and the bathroom is huge, well designed and clean.

It's pretty clear that this hotel has been around for a while. The rooms were large and clean, but I would call them average at best. The days I was in Barcelona it happened to be cold and windy, my room was stuffy and hot, I played around with the what I thought was the thermostat for the room it was only getting hot air. I asked at the front the desk and they told me that you can not individually set the temp in your room, they had turned the heat on for the whole hotel and it was a matter of how all the guests felt. When I pushed back about being hot they agreed to open the window, which remained open the rest of my nights, I had to push the couch in front of it for safety as well as when it was really windy. The tv had a bright blue light that was on even when then tv wasn't that I never figured out how to turn off. Breakfast was not worth what they were charging and when I received my bill there were a lot of mistakes, mini bar charges etc. The people at the front desk are kind, but it's about details and this hotel doesn't have it. With some many other hotels nearby I wouldn't pick this one again.

A bit outdated
This hotel clearly has been here for a while. Huge but very average rooms, not possible to open windows and an airconditioner that was noisy, lived its own life, but was not very effective. The breakfast buffet was ok but bread that was dry and should be tossed several days ago does not impress. Location-wise it is really not a winner. You need transportation to get anywhere interresting.

Good hotel
It's a nice hotel to stay. It's located in a shopping area where you have branded shops. Also it's attached to a shopping mall with the same name of the hotel unfortunately we couldn't get time to visit the mall. The bus stop is not very near but you can walk as we did its not very far. The place look vibrant at night. Infact I haven't seen any area in Barcelona which is not active :) it's an amazing city. We recommend you to take the Barcelona touristic hop on hop off for 2 days (48 hrs) you can cover Barcelona this way in 2 days and u will get enough time to get down every where. This particular tour groups service was xcellent. Have a nice trip!!- santoz
