Quality Hotel
Lovely welcome on arrival, which is always good. Room was spacious, with queen size bed. Small kitchen area with a one ring hob, a microwave and dishwasher. Bathroom well stocked with toiletries and beautiful soft towels, which were replenished daily. General appearance of hotel is good and, if only the sun had shone, we would have enjoyed the lovely courtyard.

Friendly Parisians
Anyone who says the people in Paris are not friendly has not stayed at this hotel. Every single person we encountered on our two stays were welcoming and could not do enough for us. We enjoyed our rooms one smaller one larger but both equally clean and comfortable. I personally loved the dark purple corridors which others have complained about but hey I am here for new experiences and believe traveling is about embracing the new, so I thought it really hip. We had lovely sleeps, yes the beds are two twins together but seriously very comfy and no roll like we have had at other hotels. Great area, we walked pretty much everywhere(fit 30 something's) but as dinner came were so at home ate at the hotel restaurant and loved our chats with the gorgeous bar staff. Loved starting our day with a great breaky and thank all at the les Jardins for a memorable stay in paris and making our 10th wedding anniversary one to remember.

Great Hotel
Great hotel in the superb location of central Paris.Clean, modern room and decor. For a city hotel the room was a good size. If spending any length of time in the room, it could be deemed small - but we were out all day and evening exploring the city, and it was a perfect base.Our room was overlooking the courtyard and found it very quiet, although I suppose it could be noisy if fellow guests were rowdy - we had no problems.The room was very hot - and air con was not working (freak warm spell in April) but comfortable with the window open. I am sure staff would have rectified this if we had asked, but as were only there for 2 nights it hardly seemed worth it.The staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a great location!
April 2013 - stayed as a couple for 3 nights (18 year old)This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The interior of the reception/lobby is impressive, very modern, clean and shiny! The staff were very welcoming and efficient, we were shown to our room on arrival.The room itself was much bigger than we had expected, we requested a high up room facing into the courtyard and got exactly that! We had read reviews about the rooms being small but it was not at all, plenty of room to walk around the bed and even had a little kitchen area with a microwave and minibar (readily stocked so be careful of the prices!) we booked a standard double and it was great value for money. No noise at all at night from the courtyard.We did not eat in the hotel, but from looking at the guest services book it seemed pretty expensive (a can of coke ¿¿¿10!!) there are a few restaurants and cafes around the hotel, but we chose to eat away from the area to get the proper Parisian cobbled street atmosphere. The hotel is just off a main road so is quiet and away from traffic, it's also 2 minutes walk from the nearest metro (st Sebastian) which we used each day. Staying in the marais area turned out to be a good choice considering we had no knowledge of Paris or the area; each landmark or place of interest was easy to get to using the metro, about 25 minutes metro to the Eiffel tower I think.We stayed on a warm sunny weekend, and I would say the best place we visited was the Sacre Coure in Montmarte, it was beautiful. Les jardins du marais was the perfect base for a city break, and even more so for a romantic trip because of the lovely decor and sparkly purple lit corridors!I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable yet gorgeous hotel in a central part of Paris.

Gorgeous hotel in a great spot
The hotel is very smart and all the staff we met were lovely. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish - very good value for money. My only comment was we paid 10 euro to use the internet via the TV in the room, but this was very slow so we gave up. We realised after that wifi was also available which probably would have been quicker and easier to use. Location-wise, the hotel was ideal for us. The street (rue Amelot) didn't seem anything special when we arrived in the afternoon but it really came alive at night - lots of bars, restaurants and cafes and it had a real buzz, just like the rest of Le Marais. It was also a good base for exploring the rest of the city. We were able to do this on foot, as the weather was good. We'd definitely return to Les Jardin du Marais.
