Celebration
My family dined at the Ballyrobin on Saturday 18/5/13 as a birthday treat for my husband. We had a very enjoyable meal and the helpful staff were very prompt to provide an alternative steak for one of my sons as the first one served was over cooked for his taste. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is great and I would visit again

not as good this time
Arrived back from holidays at 2am, booked into hotel to get a rest and peaceful nights sleep before driving home in the morning, arrived at hotel was greeted by nice friendly man and given ground floor room, then all i could hear was the noise of a generator outside bedroom window, :( my husband asked at reception if there was a chance of getting some toast as we hadn't eaten for some time... Was told that it wasnt possible as the kitchen was getting a Deep Clean. ok, no problem, just went to bed and fell into the most wonderful sleep.... Only to be woken up and scared to death when the fire alarm went off at 7.45....i think it was set off by accident. Rest and peace I don 't think so..... Didn't bother with breakfast, just came straight home . What a waste of money. :(

Rating food not stay
Been here three times in the last few months. Really nice place with staff very helpful. My only issue is limited vegetarian food but they will do you anything you want and price is abit high for food.

Absolutely amazing
We went to Northern Ireland from Birmingham for my hen party and stayed at the Ballyrobin. There was 6 of us in 3 rooms. The rooms were lovely and clean with ample storage and comfortable beds.We were greeted by Paula on our arrival and she was simply amazing throughout. From getting us taxis, to ensuring we get the fares promised by the taxi people (yes one taxi driver tried charging us ¿¿148 for a ¿¿60 return journey into belfast a central).We only ate at the restaurant once for breakfast and it was amazing. Five of us had the eggs royale and it was simply amazing. We had to leave at 5am on Tuesday morning and staff at Ballyrobin was very accommodating, we got breakfast sent to our rooms as the restaurant doesn't open til 7am. Overall an amazing experience I would love to visit belfast again and stay at the Ballyrobin.

Positive experience
We used the Ballyrobin recently to meet up with our daughter & son-in-law returning from honeymoon. We had an excellent meal, from a varied & interesting menu, had a few drinks in the bar, stayed overnight in an excellent room, very clean, very helpful & welcoming staff in reception,bar & dining room.Rooms were spacious, comfortable & quiet despite close proximity to airport. Breakfast was also 1st class.Plenty of parking - and reasonably priced - couldn't fault it in any way !
