Needs a little work...
When I first was working the Albany area, I wanted to stay near my office. I must say I was a little disappointed. The hotel needs a makeover to compete with other similar priced hotels. Overall, needs a serious cleaning and smells a little stuffy. I stayed a couple of times hoping things would improve but was not impressed. The bathtub shower was leaking, the door would not automatically shut, other small but annoying items. When I brought the many issues to the management, they would adjust the price and ask me to come back. The front desk seemed to care but can do so much with what they have to work with. Many hotels are now redesigning the rooms to be cleaner and more efficient business workspace. This Ramada needs to seriously take a look at this one and bring it up to the standard that the Ramada name stands for.

Okay stay for a night
I stayed at this hotel while my son participated at a local AAU Basketball Tournament. The hotel was clean, front desk staff was courteous. I stayed in a room with two double beds (very comfortable), it was spacious and clean. Included in the room was a dorm size refrigerator and microwave; this came in handy after a late night game. This hotel also comes with free wifi throughout the building. There is a grocery store and Dunkin Donuts around the corner, along with a few other fast food restaurants. The free breakfast was decent and is a plus if you are traveling with children. Taking a shower may be an issue since the hot water spiked a few times, does not seem to be regulated very well. My only complaint would be with Housekeeping. The person assigned to our rooms/floor seemed to be in a rush to leave work early (Sunday morning). In order to motivate the guests to check out, she proceeded to start vacuuming the hall with a concentration in front of the rooms that had not already checked out. It would not have been an issue, except for the fact that this was before 9am Sunday morning.
