Excellent location
We stayed two nights here averaging about $300/night. The location was outstanding. Across the street is Faneuil Hall and the North End is about 1/3 of a mile walk. The Blue T line is a block or two away which is a fairly cheap way to get to the airport ($2.50).The hotel gave us an upgrade to a superior king room on the 7th floor. The room was squeeky clean and a bit bigger than your average room. Along with the bed there was a small desk and a arm chair with ottoman. We had a 35" flat screen, nice closet and a very large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, a bit firm with outstanding linens. The duvet was crisp and a tad warm. There were 4 pillows..two standard and two longer...just perfect. The hall closet had a locking safe. The bathroom had one sink and a large walk in shower with a large shower head and excellent water pressure. Also had a sprayer on a hose for rinsing clean. The bath floor was a bit slippery when wet. The toilet was very low, with a thin plastic seat, and flushed with a blast of air. When are hotels going to get comfort height toilets, heated seats with soft close and a washlet??There was wire or wireless internet available at $10/day. I did not test the speed as I had the iPhone hotspot at zero cost. The room has one side of large windows and double doors opening to a very small balcony. With those doors shut, it was very quiet. But opening the doors let in tons of noise from the industrial fans down below and the street noise too. So to get a good sleep we had to close those doors and rely on the air conditioner to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. And this brings me to the only negative...the air conditioner is fairly loud. It starts with a buzz then goes into a muffled roar blowing cool air over the bed onto your face, then stops with a soft clunk. The A/C noise is not nearly as bad as those under window units but central air would be so much nicer. If you are a very light sleeper, you might get woken up during warmer months.

Lovely stay at this hotel.
Given a choice, I'd rate this property a 4.5. We stayed here May 9th for two nights. We opted for one of the penthouse suites, and we were very pleased. The room, although not a true ¿¿¿suite¿¿¿, is large enough for a king bed, end tables and dresser, chair and ottoman, and sleeper sofa with coffee table, all without feeling the least bit crowded. Bathrooms are large, with separate tub and shower and high-end toiletries. Ours was an end unit, so there were large windows along one entire wall in addition to the double doors leading to our balcony that accommodates two chairs and a table and is directly across the street from Faneuil Hall Market; a very desirable location! Easy access to multiple subway stations. Our every dealing with staff, from pre-arrival assistance to post check-out help with luggage, was met with professionalism, courtesy, and a genuine desire to please. One small exception only......room service was quite good, both in service time and quality, but we wouldn¿¿¿t order the ¿¿¿Jumbo¿¿¿ shrimp cocktail again which consisted of only four shrimp that were no larger than U30s, and priced at over $4 each. Live and learn. We had a great stay; this is a class-act property at a world-class location. Worth spending a little more for. Special thanks to Rodens Noelsaint for helping to make it a very special 30th anniversary trip.

Great location for 1st Timers to Boston
Thanks to the reviews on Trip Advisor's I booked my first stay in Boston at the Millennium,Great choice, great location, it was right across a street from Faneuil Hall/Market Place and easy walking distance to many historical sites. The Hotel was very clean & modern, the staff wasfriendly and offer suggestions of what to see, this all made for a great time in Boston. *This trip was in the fall of 2012

Great Location, clean hotel, courteous staff
Was in Boston for business (unfortunately it was the weekend after the Marathon while they had to hunt down nut job 1 and nut job 2), but regardless, the city as all know is fantastic, and my stay at the Bostonian was just as nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get checked in with no problems, getting a cab was a cinch, and the one night I had to valet my rental car, was flawless as well (make sure you give them at least the 15 mins they request to fetch your car). The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms nice, clean and roomy. I did not take advantage of any of the food or beverage on premise, but you are so close to everything, especially the North End of Boston, there was almost no need. You can map it yourself, but beside being close to the North end and Fennel Hall, we were able to walk to Boston Common, heart of financial district, wharf area, and for those that like to walk, Fenway... In short, my stay was primarily for business but was able to take a day or so to enjoy the city as well, and the Bostonian was worth every penny.

Great location
Booked this stay on a whim on Hotwire. It was my first time using Hotwire and I was very pleasantly surprised. We usually stay at another hotel located in Quincy Market. They had no availability so I took a shot on hotwire and couldn't have been happier with the results. The Millennium was exactly the location we needed. We were heading to the Bruins game at night and wanted to wander around Quincy Market during the day. We arrived at around 11:00 and our room was ready. Very nice room with a view of Quincy Market. Nice doors that opened to a small balcony. The market was a little loud so we kept the doors shut. Bathroom was very large with a stand up shower and a fabulous soaking tub. I would guess that the room had been somewhat recently redone as everything was perfectly crisp and clean.Parking was a little expensive. (plus a little extra because we checked in early) It is a fair price in the city. I sometimes park at Boston Common and do the bag drag to the hotel, but for one night I just didn't feel like it. Valet was super quick. We called for our car and by the time we got downstairs it was already for us. I didn't notice if there was a coffee maker in the room but there was a coffee set up in the reception area. No self service ice machine, but they gladly delivered if you requested it.This will be our new "go to hotel" in the Quincy Market area!!
