Great hotel, a bit overpriced
My husband and I stayed over one night as part of our anniversary trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a great location. Because we were celebrating our first anniversary, they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a regular King room to a suite on the 16th floor - which had an awesome view of the CN tower. It was quite, the room was clean, the bed very comfortable - but thought that it was strange that it had a kitchen area with a sink and dishes, but no refrigerator or microwave. *shrug* We were only there one night, so it didn't matter that much. We had reservations at Le Saint Tropez restaurant, which was literally right across the street - great French cuisine and atmosphere. There were a number of bars, restaurants and lounges on that strip of King Street, which was great since we didn't know our way around and didn't want to venture too far from the hotel. And after the ridiculous amount we paid for the overnight parking ($27!!!!!), I wasn't trying to move the car so we wanted to walk everywhere. Overall, we had a nice time, but I next time I will opt for a less expensive hotel in the same area. Would have given it 4 stars, but the parking cost really ticked me off.

Just OK
I don't think this hotel is worth the price, I expected more from Hyatt. They tried to charge parking twice to us. They had a different license plate number for my coworker, we came in one car and had one room? We did not like the window between the bathroom and bedroom, need more privacy. The room was worn, they need updates. I would not recommend, I would not stay again. I do not agree with their weekend policy for limiting guests in your room after 10PM, if their is a complaint deal with it then. I feel their policy treats me as if I were a teenager with a curfew.

Bof!
This hotel was extremely overpriced for the product. Rooms were small, really small, and they were okay at best. They were pretty clean. The toilet was so loud it woke us up if we flushed it at night. The location is okay, not great for downtown. Right on restaurant row...but shopping and main attractions are in walking distance, but it's a LONG walk. The walls are paper thin we could hear the elevator ding which was a couple rooms down. I had high expectations as this was a Hyatt, but I will say I was not impressed. Staff was friendly for the most part but we had issues with parking, we told them multiple times the license plate number and we still received a ticket which was taken off, but after a fight. Parking was pricey, but this is in a city so it was acceptable. I would NOT stay at this location again.

Seems Like Party Central On the Weekends
I was here for 3 nights and while the Hyatt is ok, there were definitely some issues with noise and cleanliness. There is an apparent quiet hour at night but this is absolutely NOT enforced. It seemed like Party Central on the weekends then catered to more of a business crowd during the week so it did get quieter. Wasn't thrilled with the cleanliness of the room and the standard 1 towel issue...not so cool. Good in a pinch, great location. Not a 4 star by any means.

Great Option in Downtown Toronto
Rooms are big and nicely appointed. Our room 942 was on a corner and had a nice balcony. Balcony is locked and you must ask for a key at the front desk. Bathrooms have beautiful marble floors and have ample size for 2 people to get ready at the same time. Water pressure a little wimpy though. Beds are soft and comfortable. Love that the bed had five pillows of varying firmness and softness to choose from, what I refer to as the pillow menu. Room has nice work area with office chair. NIce TV with lots of channels. They claim there's no free wifi in the room only in the lobby, but we found that our code from the lobby worked in our room. Shhhh¿¿¿..tell no one. Coffee machine in room or Starbucks in the lobby. No mini bar a bit of a surprise. Street noise from our room would be a problem for light sleepers(I am not) so such people might want to ask for room away from King Street. Lobby is big and has two nice bars as well as lots of chairs to sit and relax. Grabbed a complimentary cucumber infused water every time I came and went. Gift shop is well stocked with almost all the basic needs and a little extra. The downtown location is central to most anything you'd wanna see or do. On site sparking is $32/Day with unlimited in and out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators were always readily available for a hotel of this size. My only extremely nit picky complaint was that there was a decent amount of dust in the room(not as much as my college dorm room but a noticeable amount). Overall very comfortable stay and i would return again.
