Good location central and close to public transport. Good selection of restaurants right across the street and St Lawrence's Market is visable from the top of the street. Service within the hotel could have been better and there was ongoing mantaince on front entrance for the four days. Overall good value for money and good size room, alot of noise in the hallway at night!

The location of this hotel was perfect for a trip to Toronto, close to public transport and near many attractions. There was a great choice of restaurants right across the road. The rooms were pleasant with excellent bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. If I were ever to visit Toronto again I would be happy to stay at this hotel for a second time.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend of ours who lives close to the area. The staff at check in was very nice, the hotel room was clean however very out dated and did not at all match the decor of the lobby at all which was very disappointing. The minibar fridge was leaking in our room, not that we needed to use it but when I notified the front desk they said just to let them know at checkout and they would take care of it then. We were in room 515 viewing the Esplanade directly in between The Keg and The Tilted Kilt. Not noisy at all except for. 5-10 minute period one night when someone decided at 1am to show off the size of their engine outside, but besides that it was all quiet. You can hear lots of noise from the hallway however there was not much movement at night. When checking out I went to receive my car from the parking garage after paying 29 bucks a night and got a parking ticket. I took the ticket up to the man I checked out with and he said someone input the license plate in their system wrong. They said they would correct the issue and asked me to leave the ticket with him. Still frustrating I had to do deal with it though. Our 2 night stay included breakfast at the Cafe Nicole. Great buffet in our opinion, very fresh and nice selection. Wait staff was very nice and great to talk to. Overall a good stay, I would stay there again if I had to but they need to upgrade their rooms to the look and feel of their lobby.

We had a suite on the highest floor which was very quite, the room very spacious and the room was clean and comfortable king bed.The location was excellent, very close to the CN tower- easy walking distance, walking distance to St Lawrence Markets and the staff on the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful.I have to say the only downside was eating at the restaurant. We had breakfast there and the restaurant staff were not attentive at all, very unhelpful and the food was very average for Novotel.Apart from that, we had a very good stay. The hotel is close to many other fabulous restaurants, so I would eat out not at the restaurant.

Returned to the Novotel Toronto Centre for the first time in many years, and we're glad we did. The location is great if you are coming by train, want to hang up in the lower downtown. Short walk to the lakeshore, easy access to the St.Lawrence market area and good restaurants on Front or King streets. Rooms are pleasant without being memorable in any way, while the lobby decor is modern and front desk service very helpful and welcoming. Good value for the money.The only downside is the crummy view from the window if you are on the southside, but it's the quieter side...
