Great for one night stay near Gatwick
This hotel was great for our one night stay prior to our recent holiday. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was basic and a little tatty, but clean and all we needed for one night. The bar area was a little old fashioned but again clean and tidy. We both had bar meals in the evening which were cooked fresh and excellent. Breakfast was help yourself and was lovely, good choice and again fresh and nice and hot. The airport transfer was ultra efficient going and on our return. We just rang when we arrived back and they were with us within a few minutes in their own mini bus. Our car was also safe and looked after while we were away. All in all, we would recommend this to anyone who wants a convenient, friendly and good value pre or post holiday stay. When you compare it to the ¿¿88 just for parking at Gatwick then this at ¿¿99 for our stay and parking for 16 days is a bargain. We will definitely use them again.

Stay over night for early flight from Gatwick
This was very good value for just a single night stay over for an early flight from Gatwick Airport. Pub food available until late. Excellent courtesy transport to and from airport. Secure parking on site for car.

One Night Only
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good position being about 5 minutes drive from the South Terminal and even closer to the North Terminal. My only issue was with the room. Room 15 is right by the front door and you come out of your door straight into the entrance hall. The en-suite was tiny, being akin to a broom cupboard. You literally have to stand in the shower box to use the sink. All in all though, it is good value for one night and I would use it again (but maybe ask for a different room).

Good value for money
As the saying goes "you pay for what you get" and as far as this Guest House is concerned I think it's true. We stopped for one night on our way to Gatwick Airport. We had to get a taxi from the Airport which cost ¿¿9 as we'd arrived by train at 9.20pm, 20 minutes after the free shuttle service had finished (Can't understand why it finishes at 9pm) We were greeted by a pleasant lady on reception who in informed us that if we wanted to eat we'd need to hurry up and decide what we wanted as last orders for food were 9.45pm. We had booked a family room which to be honest was cold and in need of decorating but bearable for the 10 hours we were staying. The evening meal was good value for money and the breakfast was first class. The shuttle back to the Airport meant that the ¿¿74 we paid for the room, breakfast and transport for a family of four made it good value for money and should the need arise we wouldn't hesitate in stopping again.

Not good at all
I had one overnight in Gatwick before a connecting flight and stayed at the Gatwick Belmont Hotel. I arrived at the hotel at night and was received in the reception by friendly staff, but unfortunately here the good part stops. The temperature in the room was extremely cold, was I went to bed right away. The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress should have been changed a long time ago. When I woke up after a horrible nights sleep the room was still really cold and it needed some convincing going to the bathroom. So I cannot recommend people staying at this hotel.
