good location
What a wonderful weekend we've just had thanks to Richmond hill hotel. Perfect location, a stroll to the local shops, pubs, and restaurants, and what a view on the way.On the edge of the wonderful Richmond park. Across the road is The Wick where Ronnie Wood use to live and if i had his money so would I. The entrance and reception area are very tastefully decorated, and the staff very helpful and smiley. The bedroom was small but had everything we needed. TV could do with updating and carpet looked like it had seen better days, but bed very comfy. Breakfast was lovely and a nice addition of black pudding not something we usually find. Hopefully next time we come we will have a longer stay as Richmond is such a beautiful place.

Good location
Stayed here with my wife and family members for two nights to attend a wedding at Richmond Lodge in the park. It's high location on Richmond Hill gives perfect views across the park and the rest of London. The entrance to the park is very close so it is easy to stroll to it and also to the Lodge for something to eat and drink, to sit awhile, to relax and to take in the fantastic views as well as luxuriating in the spring flowers beautifully presented around the Lodge.The hotel itself is small but fine. We all agreed that the rooms are on the small side but then again it is a small site. There is free access to a functional gym and swimming pool adjacent to the hotel which we made use of. We ate in the dining room on one night and had an excellent meal with first class service. It is true that the lift is tiny but still functional. Use the stairs as we did, it is more healthy!This is a good base for seeing Richmond, local environs and trips to London.

Pleasant hotel
Stayed here last week and it was fine. The rooms are very small but adequate. There were however, moths flying around my room which was a bit unpleasant. As others have said, the lift is tiny, but in general it was a nice hotel. Parking was not an issues as has been mentioned in other reviews.

Fresh air on Richmond Hill
This is a wonderful hotel. Was there on business the second week of April. Staff absolutely top notch. Breakfast is outstanding and the location on the hill is just the best. Walks along the river or Richmond Park are super. I vary the airport run from taking the bus to taxi (30 pounds). 15 minutes from Richmond tube station.

Family stay at Richmond
Have just spent five days at the Richmond Hill The most comfortable and pleasent time I have experianced . All the staff were absolutely freindly and helpfull the receptionists especialy as i had my whole family of eight who were always reqiuring attention. also the hotel was extremaly busy but we were never waiting for service at any time we will certainly be back to stay at The Richmond Hill again
