Highly recommended
It's a wonderful location to just get away and enjoy the coast/lake area. We had a wonderful weekend stay and when we had a hiccup with the room TV, reception staff were excellent. We will be going back. You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy this resort - Thumbs up!

golfing catch up
location was great. close to major beachside town and other golf courses. We had a 2 b/room apartment, was perfect for 2 couples, long time friends. breakfast outstanding and dinner at the restaurant was well presented, tasty and not over-priced. All the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The only downsid was the cost to in house guests for a game of golf. As the course is not beginner friendly, we chose to play another nearby course. However, can recommend this venue. Very classy, we will return.

Great Conerence venue
Had a very good experience here at a conference a couple of months ago. There were about 40 at the conference. The conference facilities were ideal for our needs. The catering was first rate. The accommodation was very adequate. Of course when the meetings finished there was the beach or the golf course. Take your pick! Do not overlook Magenta for your next corporate conference.

Excellent value for money
Stayed one night here in May, reception staff were lovely and helpful, check in was hassle free, room was excellent. Absolutely no complaints from me. I highly recommend the stay, even better if you can get it when they are doing deals!!

Woefully inadequate for a supposed 5 star resort
We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which was not even close to being up to scratch for a family. First impressions were average at best. Window sills and ledges are cracked and discoloured. There is not enough seating in the lounge area to adequately seat everybody. The seating is aged and very uncomfortable. Even the bins are broken.The television did not even have all of the free to air digital channels and the tv was aged. This is the same across the entire resort including the bar area.The acoustics of the villas are not great. Sound resonates through the entire place.The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms spacious.The restaurant is excellent and the service good.Overall the only reason I would stay here would be to play the wonderful and brutal golf course. But it turns in to a lot of cash for a game of golf. Definitely not 5 star, closer to 3. Won't be back!
