Nice budget hotel. You get more than you pay for, however it is not near the train station
We stayed for one night to visit Disneyland Paris. We didn't have a car and have to move by RER (the suburban train arround Paris) and this was a bit of a problem, because it takes 10-15 minutes to get to the station. Now, except this the hotel is fine for a budget hotel and expect to pay much more that you pay for. The service is good. On the reception they speak English (in case you don't speak French.). The hotel is clean and tidy. The room is small, but nice looking. Breakfast is nice, but with 9.50 euros you could do better. Tip: there is another hotel with a similar name. Don't go there.

Would never stay here again
There was a party of 6 of us who went to stay.We arrived to the hotel across from this one of which we had booked....(It was the sister hotel of this one)...When we went in to book in we were told it was over booked and we would be given an upgrade to the other hotel...UPGRADE..yeah right...I was so digusted with what we were given it was a joke...There was a woman on the front desk who was so rude and ignorant...She had no time for us and when we asked for extra pillows you would swear we asked her for her PIn number to her credit card. There was no information given to us about meal times...No information given about taxis or anything else....When I left my room the house keepers took the card to start the electricity and I had to go back down to reception to get another one...When I said that I had a young child I was informed it would take 1 hour for someone to bring a key to my room....The rooms were so small...Shower was cold....two drops of milk left for tea....TV in french on all stations....When we were leaving the manger could not understand a word of english...There was also a goverment tax of 1 euro per person over the age of 13 which was never mentioned in the amount we were asked for...I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN....THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFUL.....REALLY RATE THIS HOTEL 2 STAR!!!

Great for Disney!
A group of 12 of us stayed at Campanile Bussy St Georges for my hen weekend on 26th-28th April 2013.We had four rooms of three single beds between us.We found the hotel very easy to find and within a 10-15 minute walk from the RER station. The check in staff were friendly and helpful as we arrived too late for dinner in the evening (9.50pm). They suggested a couple of places where we would be able to get food before 10.30pm.There was a McDonalds just 5 minutes away with a Restaurant and Club called 'Tabu' next door to this. The hotel was very clean and the only fault I had with my room was that the TV was stuck on as the remote didn't work! I managed to turn it off in the end but it was with difficulty as there is no night porter in the hotel. The check in desk is only manned until 11pm.The hotel uses a card system to operate the lifts and doors and the front gate to the hotel. We found that our cards never seemed to open the gate but that was never a problem as we could just ring the bell! The hotel provides a hand soap, towels and a shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. The bathrooms themselves were lovely. All very modern and a choice of rainfall or handheld shower or bath. The rooms were quite small but not as bad as I was led to believe from some previous reviews! Some of us had breakfast in the hotel and I found it to be lovely. It was a bit expensive at 9.50 euros each for a continental breakfast and the selection was limited, but still it was nice to just eat as soon as I was awake! As a cheaper alternative there was a big supermarket right next to the RER station which half of our group ate at.Overall this was a great, cheap place to stay for Disneyland Paris for two nights. Just beware of the heat in the rooms in the evenings - work out how to use the thermostat or open a window!I would definitely stay here again for Disney and I would recommend it to others.

a great alternative to disney hotels!
we recently stayed for one night at this particular campanile for a cheap and cheerful trip to disney. we usually stay at one of the resort hotels but decided to drive and ended up saving ourselves several hundred pounds in the process..! we weren't expecting much but were still pleasantly surprised by this hotel; i'd say it's the equivalent of premier inn in the uk.rooms:all the rooms have been recently renovated, providing a very comfortable base. shampoo, shower gel and a hairdryer are provided; i read that another reviewer didn't have a shower basin but our room did. on that note, we had drench shower which was a treat as we didn't expect anything particularly special! bed was comfortable and we had an undisturbed night - this says a lot for me as i'm a very light sleeper (walking round disney all day may have helped though!). kettle is provided with coffee and some form of tea. there's also free wi-fi which worked well. tv only had french tv channels; we were in a french hotel so hardly something that bothered us.room is small as many have mentioned so it's not really a place you would want to spend a lot of time in. storage space is quite limited as well - not that this affected us when we only had a change of clothes in tow but worth bearing in mind if you intend to bring your entire wardrobe or buy most of the merch in the 'world of disney' shop...location:if you're driving, the hotel is really easy to get to as it's just off the motorway (there was no road noise in our room). the journey takes just less than three hours from calais. to get to disneyland from here, it's as simple as hopping back on the motorway for another ten minutes; the parks are well signposted too. we didn't use public transport on this occasion but the hotel was recommended to us by a relative who always uses the local train to get to disneyland and paris itself. the area seemed safe enough at night (we didn't get to the hotel until 10:30pm-ish) although it's pretty industrial - no sign of any shops but those who walked round the area may be able to say otherwise. other tips:- check-in is open 24 hours at this hotel which is great if you're intending to go straight to disneyland. we popped into the hotel at 11am to see if we could check-in, but it was too early.- check-in staff all spoke good english so there's no need to worry about this. - we were given the option to have breakfast at check-in. we didn't go for it as we thought we could eat at disneyland but on reflection, it's probably worth doing; there isn't much on offer at the parks or in the disney village. - if driving to the disney parks, follow the signs to the disney village and park there. it's cheaper (around 11 euros for a full day - it's 15 euros to park in the main car park) and is a lot closer to the park entrance too!- you can still eat at the restaurants in the disney village but you may need to book a table in advance (cafe mickey is very popular). you can find the reservation numbers on the main disneyland website.- there are petrol stations in the surrounding area but we found that the staff couldn't speak english. of course, that wasn't anyone's fault but something worth bearing in mind if you need to fill up your car!- pick up any snacks/drinks before you reach the hotel as it didn't appear that you could buy anything once you're there (unless you want a full-on dinner).- if you're driving back to calais, the traffic can get bad between the hotel and CDG airport so allow extra time to get back. i can't speak for the ferries but we got put on an earlier eurotunnel so it appears arriving before your scheduled time isn't an issue.we're already planning our next trip back to disneyland and will only consider this hotel for outside of the resort. we didn't find any faults with our stay - the only thing it lacked was disney magic but of course, that comes at an extortionate price! we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable base when visiting

Fine hotel, but very functional
Very small rooms, typical for Campanile, even worse in and around Paris. But the rooms have been recently renovated with bright colours and offer good sleeping. The dinner at the restaurant has limited choice on the menu, but definitely when you choose the buffet, you should fine something to liking of old and young. Don't expect great service but it's efficient and friendly to the level that you may expect in this range of hotels. A good choice to stay when you look for the Disneyland hotels and plan to use the hotel only for a late dinner and a good nights sleep.
