Amazing... and I am not usually easily pleased!
The staff at this hotel make this hotel amazing~! not a high pitched "Hi Maam" to be heard! all greetings genuine and friendly. Service was attentive without being over bearing. Although the hotel was pretty busy there was plenty of space on the beaches and at the pool. We were upgraded to a beach side villa...AMAZING! private..... peaceful and a lovely walk to the hotel or to the restaurants near the breakwater. Special comments to Alvin and Jaime at the Pura Vida restaurant...... excellent excellent excellent! THANK YOU for an amazing dining experience

A place to relax and forget about the world!
This resort has great facilities and you are never too far from a pool, no matter where you stay. Breakfast is vast and has all the usual options, as well as an organic food area and a pork station. The staff were very friendly and overall the service is excellent. We didn't need the internet as this was a long weekend escape, so cannot comment on some of the previous reviews about it being expensive. We also has a couple's massage at the spa and we were extremely happy with it. The only issue we had is that there is no cash machine in the hotel, which is not particularly close to a bank, so remember to bring some cash in, for tips or extras!

A great resort.. But some silly things need adjustments
Ok.. i heard over and over about this resort from friends and family, then when we finally had the time we decided to go..The resort is amazing.. the staff are friendly from the valet, check-in, the buggy concierge drivers.. really i would give them and the management 2 thumbs up not only for doing their job but to accommodate a full house in a long weekend without any mistakes. every time no matter what time is it we call a buggy to take us from point A to point B it takes them maximum 5 min to there..!Anyway the silly turn offs are:- The bed was not comfortable at all- The baby cot was not actually a baby cot! it is baby day play pen!! so at night when i put the - baby to sleep i asked for the mattress!! where is the mattress!! apparently there wasn't.. so baby slept between us- The T.V. Channel selection is very poor!! like basic channels are not there eg: MBC - The restaurant reservation management system! ok that was very funny! why? because every time i call and ask about a restaurant i always get the response "Sir, you have to book" or "make a reservation"!!! So we went to "The passage to Asia" and wanted to check it out and book at 9:00pm! so the guy at the door was like!!! oh no sir! 9 is fully book... would you come at 9:30?? so we were ok!... anyway we returned at 9:00 pm and thought of roaming around until our table is empty! and the surprise was at 9 pm the restaurant was almost empty of only one table!!So i asked the guy!! you told me it will be fully booked and we no chance of getting a table at 9:!!hmmm well he didn't answer!!!The next day the same happened at the seafood restaurant!!!i booked for dinner at 6:30!! and when we went there at 6:30 the waiter asked me do you have a reservation!! i said yes.... he said ok please come in!!! anyway The food was great!!! the best seafood grill i ever had..But we stayed in the restaurant till about 9 pm!!!! NO ONE showed up except for a couple of tables!!!So conclusion is!! dear management! please cut down the embarrassment and kill the reservation idea!!! and just do the first come first serve system :)Thanks but after all please keep up the great work... looking forward to coming again soon

Family holiday at the Hilton in Ras al khaimah
Nice weather.... Nice location..... shame about the service :-( when inquiring about the lack of internet connection and price we had to pay "we were told by front desk assistant manager take it or leave it you dont have to come here" Oops!! not a nice attitude :-(

Third stay not disappointed!
I first stayed here 2 weeks after it opened, stayed again a year or so later and third time with my partner in April of this year. All rooms face the sea and are very comfortable, well equipped with nice bathroom, very important for us! Beautiful pool areas and pleasant beach to stroll along. Spotlessly clean hotel and staff are excellent, a special mention to Lin in the XO Bar he runs it single handedly, service is excellent he has a memory that never forgets what you drink and always, always has a smile on his face :). Dhow Beach Bar was great for a casual lunch and drinks on the beach Munib looked after us very well and clearly enjoys looking after guests. Sundowner bar was great for afternoon and early evening drinks staff again excellent. Food overall good we were all inclusive but only took evening meals in the Italian, seafood and Asian restaurants, if anything the food was a bit repetitive if you are there for a week or more, we don't do buffets but the looked great if you want to eat till you drop or have kids! I badly cut my hand on our first day there and had to visit the local hospital, the life guards around the pool, the beach club staff and guest liaison were more than helpful, a thank you to everyone. Keep in mind it's not central Dubai, it's over an hour from Dubai airport, would recommend private transfers, not necessarily the hotel taxi who was a maniac on the trip back to the airport! If you want sunshine and relaxation don't hesitate, relax and enjoy. Lyn G Beaconsfield
