Not up to scratch!
This hotel was a good option for an overnight stay - a short walk from Central Station's country platforms and only a $35 taxi ride to the international airport at 5.30am. Having said that, the twin room beds were extremely narrow, and there are better value options close by at a similar price. Reception staff were not friendly. I probably wouldn¿¿¿t stay there again.

An apartment with a Pleasant Environment
I stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It was a very pleasant environment, and well-appointed. The kitchen is small, but includes a good-sized fridge, a stove and cooktop, a small dishwasher and plenty of cupboard space. I felt like it would be ideal for a longer stay. There was enough space in the lounge/dining area for half a dozen people to enjoy one another's company. The rooms each had a king-sized bed, and lots of hanging space. I was a little disappointed to have nowhere to lay my suitcase, but for a longer stay the wardrobe would have provided ample space. The washer/dryer combination was also a welcome resource. I have two criticisms of the suite overall. The first is the exorbitant price on basic items - a 1.5 litre bottle of water was $6.50 and it was about $4.00 for a scoop of washing powder. The second is the bath/shower combination in the bathroom. The bath was set so high that I, a tall person, found it a challenge to climb up into it. The shower head, on the other hand, was set so low that I could barely get my head underneath it without falling over. The bath seriously needs a step to get in, and an adjustable height shower head would make a big difference. It was good to be so close to Central station, there was a nice selection of reasonably-priced eateries nearby, and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive.

Tired looking and grubby hotel, but good location
I was disappointed with this hotel. The windows were filthy which made the rooms dark. The cleaning was irregular and patchy. The bedside table had selotape holding the corner together. The staff were tired and perhaps overworked or undersupported. We had a two-bedroomed apartment but only one bedroom had a window, with the other having only a sliding glass door. Sound proofing was poor.However, the location (next to the Central Railway Station) was very good.

Perfect for work

My one night stay was fine, but...
I stayed at the Adina for one night only due to it being located near the office. I was pleasantly surprised on a number of aspects but the overall experience was diluted by the bathroom.I stayed in a loft room on the top floor. It was bathed in natural light and was spacious with a reasonable kitchen and living area. The bed and bathroom were in the loft upstairs.The disappointing aspects were that there was no spare conveniently placed power outlet to plug the iron into so I needed to crawl on the floor past the TV to iron a shirt. The hot water to the bathroom sink never got hot and the step into the bath/shower was higher than knee height.Other than those things the apartment suited my needs and given the location I will likely return.
