High quality business hotel
I stayed 3 nights while at a conference. Convenient location; clean, comfortable room; helpful service. The fitness room was being renovated, but Haris provided me with complementary passes to a fitness club just two blocks away. I would definitely stay here again

Very disappointed
I was booked in here for a corporate stay and the only positive thing I can say is its convenient location. It may be better value if you are a member but it was expensive. The rooms are very small and look dated. The bathroom is very basic, bed basic and uncomfortable. The layout of the corridors and rooms narrow and unattractive. My first room was way at the end of an long corridor distant from the elevators and as a single woman traveller I felt nervous and uncomfortable especially after meeting a man walking in the corridor in his underwear! The manager was helpful and gave me a choice of a a better room although its only advantage was being slightly nearer the elevators. A colleague had a similar room so I believe all rooms are similar. The public rooms are of a good standard and snacks are provided. However there is only an unattractive pub/bar adjacent which is the only restaurant. This is not a good place for a single woman traveller.

Not worth price
The parking was over block away & costly..they convinced us for room upgrade & very small suite. Did have nice terrace area..picked the hotel for a huge price because of vicinity to far east cafe which is our favorite. Nice bar next door. Would not pick this one again.

One of the best
I have stayed in a lot of 5 star resorts and I have to say the staff here is as proffesional and caring as any of them. The rooms are always clean and very well maintained. The staff is very knowledgeable and helfull for tourist looking to view the citys sites and dinning. For a hotel centrally located in the financial district it carrys all the necesities also a great resteraunt on the first floor the Elephant & Castle good food, Full Bar and wide variety of Scotch and the value is very reasonable, Walking distance to Chinatown, fishermens wharf. My Thanks to the management and staff it is allways a pleasure to stay here. Special Thanks to everyone at the lobby desk for always being so pleasant and helpful.

Great location close to the Financial District
I had a great experience at the CQ in San Francisco.Liz K and her manager, Patrick, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and right at home.I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been dealt with professionally and treated by the friendliest staff. They do a great job.Like most hotels in major cities, the room sizes can be small, but the staff more than makes up for it.Ask about their suites, which are a bigger and have a little more room to stretch out in.And you can find snacks and a coffee machine in the lobby for that extra energy.
