Not for sleep!!
Agree with all reviews....I had booked for Apr 4-6th and requested early check-in and late check-out. When I arrived and attempted to tell the guy of my booking, it was simply that he couldn't do it and that I had to wait to try to book it at 8am. Think of getting off a 9 hour flight and arriving at the hotel and having to wait another hour to get a room settled that you thought was booked!The staff is not helpful as I felt that many did not have a great grasp of the English language other than what would allow them to check you in and check you out. By the end of my stay, I was tired of trying to get someone to hail me a taxi, get something to eat, or anything else related to my comfort.The night club was a pain, I don't mind the boom, boom, boom, but every time the base resonated, something in my room rattled. It was the rattle that kept me up all night. Alcohol is expensive in Dubai and hard to come by so I ended up going through the wines I was going to bring home from South Africa trying to get some much needed sleep.The cleaning crew was not the greatest as I think the standards were lax, I swear that the staff used my facilities after they supposedly cleaned up.It is about a 15 min walk away from the subway, the streets outside were under construction while I was there, and they did not meet me at the airport as promised, but they did drop me off.Not worth the hassle, I'd stay somewhere else for more money.

Simply terrible!
This venue should not be listed as a hotel, it should be entitled a night club with adjoining rooms. After a 14.5 hour flight from Sydney, all my husband and I wanted to do was sleep. Oh no my friends, that was not going to happen at the Ramee Royal Hotel. With a nightclub situated on most floors, you can forget getting any shut eye. I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel and would advise you all to stay well, well away...

Horrible Hotel, very noisy night club and unhelpful staff !!
Myself, my husband and my daughter stayed at the Ramee Royal in march 2013 for 3 nights.We arrived after doing a 7 night cruise round Dubai which was excellent.The Hotel was not up to our standard the bedding smelled of sick!! We couldnt sleepfor the noise of the nightclub above us it was Boom! Boom! Boom! from 10pm until3am. We are just about sure it was a Brothel, there was women running around halfnaked and coming out of bedrooms everywhere and then booking in to rooms after nightclub had finished! Also the Hotel was very dark and it looked like a building site outside. I certainly would love to go to Dubai again but definitely would not stay in this Hotel !!

Not a bad stay for the price :)
Me and my friend stayed here for four nights purely based on the price. We had read the reviews beforehand and expected it to be quite poor. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was told to be one of the nosiest as it was located above one of the clubs inside the hotel and we could change if we were unhappy. We didn't end up changing our room as it really didn't bother us at all, we were so tired at nights we could sleep through the noise. For someone on business or attending an important event this may not be suitable. The breakfast was not great but there was still a lot to choose from (omelettes made to your choice).All staff were very friendly especially the gentlemen working in the gym and pool area and I would stay here again. Only negative is the price of food at the hotel but we always walked to the nearest mall area (12min walk) to have dinner. For the price we paid it is definitely worth a four star.
