Dirty bathroom!!!
I book the executive room overlooking the bay. The room itself is not bad but stay away from the bed runners and decorative pillow better put them away because it was so itchy I think its because they were dirty! The big yikes to me was the bathroom ,it was so moldy and it seems nobody cares to brush the floor, the shower wall and the glass door!

Good place to stay
PROS: My extremely large room in this 25 floor hotel overlooked the Pearl River and was very clean with an enormous square bed.-Towels, face washers and bed linen were good quality. Your keycard also gives access to the floor.-Quite easy to get to from Baiyun Airport via Shuttle Bus 5 immediately outside the terminal to Haizhu Square [21Y] then a short taxi ride to the hotel [10Y] {Print out the hotel details in Chinese characters off the internet}-Buffet breakfast was very satisfactory.-Complimentary bottle of drinking water daily per person.-Efficient adjustable air-con.CONS: Soap etc. is not provided in the room !!!!!!!-Coffee sachets are not free.-At times there was not a person at reception with even rudimentary English.-No tourist information available at reception.TO SUM UP: The rooms may be 3-4 star but not all other aspects. Nevertheless I would stay there again.

Stay away from this hotel!
I booked this hotel (Executive Business Riverview Room) because of it's location but when I checked in around 5 hours back (due to my flight landed in Guangzhou early morning), I was told to pay extra entire one day stay because of early check-in. Location is good (a bit far off Haizhu Square Metro Line) but it's located on main road to many Disco clubs, pubs and beer bars.

Good stay in Guangzhou
Very nice place to stay. The hotel room was clean. I stayed in the mini room. The hotel is very close to the river with a great view and a few bars. There is a bus stop across the road and the subway is about 10 mins walk. There did seem to be call girls along the river road. I found this when walking on my own. The river night cruise was good value

good hotel & nice staff
We stayed here 3 days and had a standard room with river view.The room was clean and bathroom spotless. No difference to other standard rooms in similar class hotels.The floor we stayed on had a security check where you had to swipe your card to open the door to the corridor before you reach the roomdoors.2 elevators pretty busy all the time make you waiting.Breakfast was ok, tried to take some individual packed butter to the room with toast but the service staff stopped me and said cannot do.the hotel is right next to the river and close to a lot of restaurants and some bars & night club few meters away.easy to get a taxi when you leave the hotel thru backentrance.staff was really helpful and very friendly, english as well no problem.few meters away is a riverboat terminal and a shopping street.littel shop next to front desk for urgent needs. Hotel is not expensive and service really good. lobby ( if you call it lobby ) is always busy coz people ( not only guests ) are coming and leaving all the time or using back and front entrance to reach other side of the hotel.Subway is in walking distance and bus right in front of the hotel.We had a good time and enjoyed our stay.
