Wish we could have stayed longer
My girlfriend and I stayed here on the night before returning to the UK.We absolutely love Brisbane and this apartment block was very well located for access to the botanical gardens and the city itself.The apartments are very modern with a large balcony and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.The bed was comfortable and we slept well, we only wish we could have stayed longer but maybe next time.

Good location
Our apartment was tastefully decorated and had a great view, however when you looked closer it looked tired and u notice the peeling paint on the roof and brown grout in bathrooms. Close to everything you need in Brisbane.

Lack of privacy
Our 2 night stay was in a 1 bedroom apartment on the 25th floor. The apartments were well located to both the restaurants along the Brisbane River and to all the city has to offer. However, when we opened the curtains we discovered we were looking straight onto a building site next door where the crane driver's cabin was right up at our 25th floor level as were many of the building workers. They were so close you felt you could have touched them. This meant that we needed to keep the curtains completely closed in both the lounge room and the bedroom throughout the daylight hours. There was also some building noise. We did bring this to the attention of the Receptionist as we had to call her re some problems with unconnected TV points however there was no offer to move us to a better side of the building. At no time was the building situation mentioned to us at the time of booking.

Excellent Apartment, very clean, spacious, home away from home and close to everything, Great kitchen facilities, very well equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, lovely pool and great view from our large balcony

Nice stay
I stayed here last night (2703) with my two young teenage children - a nice, spacious apartment for mid-city. Parking is a pain anywhere in Brisbane, so it was good to have the parking area just around the corner for an ok price. They even let us park a bit earlier than check-in, so that was handy. We were right next to the building development (which will sadly no doubt obstruct the view when completed) and it was NOISY at about 6.30 am this morning, I mean really loud. It didn't bother us too much as we were leaving today anyway, but imagine it could be awful if you want to spend time in the apartment. Not sure when this will all be finished. I agree with previous reviews about the slow arrival of lifts, but that's not too bad a complaint overall. It was quite a nice place to stay, and extremely central for all of Brisbane. Oh, and such comfortable beds and pillows. Thanks IStay.
