Beijing visit
Good hotel close to the tourist attractions and value for money. Markets and shops availabel near the hotel. Walkable distance to the Temple of Heave though the people in the reception were not able to direct correctly / give caccurate information with regard to the timings etc. Watch out for availability of taxis if you are stepping out of the hotel late. They are very difficult to get. Reaching Beijing by a fast train we waited nearly 2 hours to get a taxi to the hotel.Rooms are comfortable and clean though not very big..

Nearly Heaven!
Large, well appointed rooms but with uninteresting views! Very busy with tourists and business men! The fastest lifts ever found in a hotel! Very helpful staff. A limited choice of Chinese dishes in the restaurant but good quality. A large, varied buffet breakfast. Free wifi!!!!

Nice to stay
I stayed in Holiday Inn Express Hotel for three days. Its location is quite good. The room is wide and clean. Facilities is full for tourists. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The good thing is that there is the convenient store- Lucky- near the hotel, which we can buy anythings even at night. Breakfast is delicious. It is not far from the local night market.

Start of our China tour
In preparing for our 4 week tour of China, we were looking for a 'Western' style hotel - fairly close to the center of Beijing, at a reasonable price - on this basis booked Holiday Inn Express Temple of Heaven. We stayed 4 nights.Reception - friendly and willing - limited English. Location is OK - if you are prepared to walk a little. WiFi was iffy - but help was provided to improve this. Food - a large variety was available. Here some criticism - the fresh vegetables or fruit were not well prepared and did not look particularly hygienic. As we head back to Europe at the end of our trip via Beijing - we will most certainly look for an alternative hotel but do not regret having chosen Holiday Inn for the start.

Nice hotel but not the best location
We stayed at Holiday Innn Express Temple of Heaven for two nights while in Beijing. The hotel lobby and our room were very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. There was a coffee/tea maker in the room. The staff were friendly, helpful and arranged for a private driver to take us to the airport. Breakfast was not great and could have more western choices. We ate dinner at the restaurant although the menu is limited with few choices. The hotel is not well located as there are few places to shop or eat in the neighborhood. We had hoped to walk around at night to shop and have dinner but we did not as area is dark with few businesses. We would not stay there again because of the location.
