Ok¿¿¿where to begin with this hotel. I feel a lot of times these reviews are hard to understand because so many people have so many different standards for hotels. Let me start off by saying that, my husband and I understand that hotels in Europe are different than in America. We never plan on spending a lot of our time actually IN the hotels so we are usually O.K. if the hotel is not the most swankiest! With that being said¿¿¿ladies and gentlemen I bring you Hotel Panorama, the biggest DUMP I have ever seen. This hotel is disgusting and it SHOCKS me that so many people on Tripadvisor gave it so many great reviews because I listened to those reviews and I should not have! Unless the people giving it 5 stars usually stay in doghouses when they travel then a 5 star rating is not understandable! Ok so here it goes a true review, if you care about yourself and your overall wellbeing please read this review before you stay and then and only then can make your own decision whether you are the type of traveler that can stay here. First off, don¿¿¿t use the lift. Yes they have one¿¿¿but it only works sometimes and they do warn you before you use it that you may get stuck. We saw a person get stuck in it¿¿¿just suck it up and take the stairs. The stairs aren¿¿¿t that bad in any hotel, the only thing that sucks is the first and last day when you haul your luggage up and down. God forbid the staff help us¿¿¿We got up to our room, GREAT view by the way. It truly was beautiful. But like I said, we do not spend a lot of time in our room so it wouldn¿¿¿t have mattered anyways. The room is disgusting. I have literally never seen anything like it before. There were about 10 smashed bugs on the wall. Mold growing on the ceiling of the bedroom and all over the bathroom, and I am not talking a little mildew¿¿¿I am talking full blown festering BLACK mold in like 2x2ft patches! The refrigerator also had mildew in it. The bathroom is a wet bathroom so you can literally go to the bathroom and shower at the same time if you so choose, again NOT that big of a deal if it wasn¿¿¿t for the mold spores everywhere! So¿¿¿My husband and I left our bags there and went to go have a drink and decompress. We thought maybe we were being a tad critical because we just traveled 6 hours by train. There was this weird little machine in the room and it looked like a power converter, I assumed they gave them for free to the customers. So since we brought our own, I decided to bring it to the front desk before we left for drinks. The guy looked at me and literally said, ¿¿¿Oh you keep, this isn¿¿¿t a converter it¿¿¿s a bug zapper and you will need it.¿¿¿ ¿¿¿.!!!!!!!!! I about died! I literally couldn¿¿¿t keep my mouth shut anymore and told him that we would not be staying there. He asked me why and I told him, ¿¿¿Sir you have smashed bugs on the wall and mold growing everywhere, it really isn¿¿¿t a healthy environment.¿¿¿ He replied by telling me that once you smush a bug on the wall there is no way to clean it off, he did not even comment on the mold. He then told me I could not get my money back and there was no way I could speak to the owner about it. At that point I did not care, it wasn¿¿¿t his fault and it was a loss I was willing to take. Moral of the story, I lost a few hundred dollars but it was worth it. Think about it, if they can¿¿¿t take a damp cloth and wipe a few bugs off the wall or use a bleach rag to get mold down¿¿¿.what are your sheets going to be like? The floors? The mattress? The dishes they serve you breakfast with? The toilet? Etc, etc, etc. Please do your selves a favor, just go somewhere else. It doesn¿¿¿t have to be more money, it simply has to be somewhere that takes pride in actually cleaning a room and making it a safe living environment for you and your families trip. I am so happy I was able to see this room so I could write a TRUE and accurate review for people to see.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the whole time. It's an easy walk to the Duomo and even closer to Galleria D'Accademia. All the art on the walls makes what would otherwise be a drab building into a cute little place. The staff really make this place, though. There were always friendly faces at the front desk, and one of them gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant on our final night in Florence. It's a good place for anyone traveling on a bit of a budget, even though it's well above a hostel

It is located at a good area 10 minutes walk from the historical city centre and from the train station but its not a 3 star hotel.Its a low budget hotel just to have a place to sleep and have a bath.I can talk about our room.It was a little bit small with a bad bath but with nice view and very quiet.The breakfast was good but worst than any other i had in italy.The stuff was very kind with us.It needs many improvements but its a good choice.

This hotel was great for the 3 days we were in Florence. Great location and overall a nice place. Most of all, it was super easy to find, walking from the train station. The room was fine; not the best of beds, but they were adequate. The service was great, and very helpful staff. Also, nice selection for breakfast, before a day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again!

We were on our Honeymoon and had just spent an awful night in France. This hotel was a breath of fresh air. The staff was extraordinary and very informative. The rooms were very nice and peaceful. The breakfast was great and the internet worked very well. We had such a relaxing trip to Florence and by the time we left it felt like home.
