Great staff, good value!
The location is closely connected to the Ocean Park and the habor, the only flaw maybe it is more expensive if you wanna taxi back after a shopping day. But its room saves a lot!Room is clean and the staff is extremely helpful! There are complimentary WiFi, breakfast and mini-bar everyday, sorry for our short stay, we only enjoyed the mini-bar and not yet get time to try the iPad.But the stay is fantastic! Quite good choice in Hong Kong. I will come back again!

Stay at Ovolo 100SPW
I should say life in Hong Kong is good because I stayed at Ovolo 100 SPW. It was a very comfortable and convenient stay I had for one year and eight(8) months. Initially, I didn't know if I could stay that long but after a while I would not want to move out. The management and staffs are warm and accommodating and they would take care of their guests as well as their guests' needs. My room has an ocean view with a large window in the bedroom and in the living room, both of which show fantastic views especially at night. This is really the stress-relieving part. The interior design and furnishings of the room are classy and unique. I would always make IDD calls and I find their IDD rates cheaper since there's no add-on premium. They also provide internet connection for free. Nearby you would find stores and shops for your needs. Indeed, it was a memorable and pleasant stay at OVOLO.

Hotel Ovolo Aberdeen
My stay in Ovolo really makes me feel like staying at home...i have been there since Oct 2009 and during the period of my stay..i have encountered many different matters in the hotel...water flooding in..no electricity ....no lift...moving rooms....i would say to really say one hotel is good or not, you gotta look at their emergency/unusual situation handling skills...my experience on this few time emergency situations tell me this hotel and its staff are excellant in serving customers. They really want their guests having to receive the best service and really want the guests to feel home away from home. they are not just advertize as home away from home...they meant to do it...also the staff there can really take care of its customer on a very nitty gritty basis and make the guests feel the importancy

Hotel Ovolo Aberdeen
I have been to HK several times, so much so that we had even taken a membership at the BUtterfly hotel, and used to always stay at their various properties in HK. This time they didnt have rooms available so i had to hunt for another room, and i came across OVOLO....they offered the room to me at a very good price, only catch being it was located in aberdeen, but since am versatile with the HOngkong Buses, i didnt mind it one bit...Once there, we were pleasantly surprised, with a Large room area, bed, sitting and kitchen area, great views from ocean rooms of harbour and fish market - all activity. Free wifi that works, Apple TV, ipod dock and extremely beautiful interiors...and YES, one more thing, an awesome bathroom.the location is convenient, can commute to anywhere in HK. The place is connected to each and every spot of HK, and the bus stop is bang opposite the hotel...theres a direct Bus A12 STRAIGHT to the airport...so saves u the effort of cabbing to the airport express and spending few hundred dollars on that..the A12 CHARGES JUST 48 HKD straight to the airport.Good light breakfast. Free use of washing machine and dryer. Friendly staff. I didnt have one bad thing to say about them....the staff is extremely friendly and very very cooperative....If you are confident moving about HK on the buses, and do not want to be confined to a small expensive hotel room in a busy tourist area, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Being based in Aberdeen I saw a part of Hong Kong life many tourists miss.its easier to even visit stanley, from aberdeen...ovolo indeed makes u feel at home, and am sure to terminate my membership with Butterfly and swicth my loyalities to the Ovolo group...Kudos Ovolo...excellent job!Room Tip: Higher floors are better.

Doing HK differently
Have been to HK many times and always concerned about the "sameness" and expense of the hotels in Central, Kowloon, or other areas. This time here for 6 days in a very busy period, I needed something more like home at a vaguely reasonable (for HK) price This is it.Large room area, bed, sitting and kitchen area, great views from ocean rooms of harbour and fish market - all activity. Ability to cook good meals. Free wifi that works. CNN.What I did not realise on booking is the abundance of fresh fish in the area, plus vegetable market, making "home" cooking easy, excellent and cheap.Nor did I realise the convenience of the location - to anywhere in HK. Aberdeen is local of course - outer islands from the piers down the road, and in 6 days I failed to find a place I was going that was not served by a direct local bus outside the hotel front door. This includes the airport.Seeing HK is never better than from the top deck front seat of local bus. Mr Google + bus company web sites make it easy, and an Octopus card pays for buses, MRT and ferries. (Get from a station, hotel adds a premium).Good light breakfast. Free use of washing machine and dryer. Friendly staff. If I had any negative it is the regular overlooking of replacing used amenities. Small point.If you are confident moving about HK on the buses, and do not want to be confined to a small expensive hotel room in a busy tourist area, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Being based in Aberdeen I saw a part of Hong Kong life many tourists miss.
