Looking forward to going back!
We visited manchester for a birthday night out. Booked the abode last minute as it was bank holiday weekend hotels were booked up & also not cheap. Abode had an offer on & good reviews. The service and staff were very good from beginning to end of the stay. The hotel has a boutique feel but keeping its original building features. We booked a standard double room which had a very comfy queen sized bed & the warehouse style room was large & spacious. The breakfasts were spot on and I would happily stay here again weather it was one night or preferably longer! The location for central Manchester is very good - only down side is parking in NcP was discounted at ¿¿15 but this is no different most of the hotels in Manchester.

Ideal for business or a city break
Very comfortable room with one of the best beds I can remember for some time. Good bar with excellent quality food. Very helpful staff at reception and elsewhere.Only one issue was that somhow my breakfast order was lost somewhere between the restaurant and kitchen but the waiting staff sorted it out very quickly.

Staff Excellent but Room for Improvement
Staff were excellent, especially reception but there were some short comings. It was quite hot but we could not open the windows on the 4th floor. Room breakfast was ok but served margarine instead of butter and cheap bread for toast.Quite a quirky building, book your room on the back if you can as noisy on the front road.

Nice place
Nice location close to Piccadilly Station.A clean nice hotel with an excellent receptionist(girl) that was so very keen to help.Nice breakfast staff too.The rooms were OK and clean, I only missed afridge. Near to everything in the city as it seemed.

Abode Hotel - Manchester
This was our second visit to this hotel and we were looking forward to the stay. We booked the hotel bout 4 weeks prior to our visit on 'Bookings.com' and booked a 'Standard' room which was equivalent to a 'Comfortable' room on the Abodes web site.The hotel has a perfect location for a city break. We arrived early and left our luggage, the staff were just as we remembered, very helpful.When we returned and checked into our room, we were very dissappointed by the room. We had previously stayed in a 'Desireable' room (which at the time included breakfast), so we obviously compared rooms. Whilst the room was adequate, it wasnt fantastic, and i have to say for the money we paid (¿¿115, which did not include breakfast) didnt feel value for money.Our room (112) was at the side/back of the hotel we think, was quite noisy, there was a droning noise all night (it wasnt the wife snoring either), i think it might have been something like the hotel's ventilation system. To say the least it was very disturbing, like toothache, it didnt make for a good nights sleep Be aware of the noise if you get this room.We felt the price of the room was more than needed to be, even if breakfast had been included we think it would still have been over priced.Yes the desireable rooms are better, maybe we got a bargain last time we stayed (we paid ¿¿90), and yes we have compared rightly or wrongly our 2 visits, but we do think for a 'Comfortable' room without breakfast should have cost no more than ¿¿90 maximum.So come on Abode, look at your pricing policy.
