Excellent Venue
Recently worked at this hotel for two days at a business event, first impressions when arriving at hotel are good, then when you enter the clean, modern bright reception is inviting.The staff are first class, the doorman opens your taxi or approaches your vehicle to assist, no passing the buck to somebody else, yhey all seem to have a will do attitude (very helpful).All throughout the hotel the modern deco is very impressive and immaculately clean, lots of glass and marble.During the two days we ate within the business conference area and the food and service again was excellent.On my next visit I hope I am able to stay at the venue also, then I can review the guest rooms.5* venue and service.

it aint cheap , but it is a "real" 5 star and it is realy good a big , airy hotel with lots of space both in the rooms and common areas , great and smiley service realy great food and the staff realy do make you welcome [not allways the case in 5 star]as i allready said it isnt cheap , its just good , in all areas , just what you would expect

Very nice stay
Had a very nice stay here last Summer. Clean and Modern. Staff very polite, helpful and friendly. Bar staff particularly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs. Big standard rooms. Had a tasty meal through room service. All good, just nothing stood out particularly, hence the very good rating rather than excellent.

What a mistake
¿¿6.00 per hour internet wifi, ¿¿15.00 per day ¿¿75.00 per week laugh I nearly bought them a router¿¿5.00 tray fee for a bucket of ice¿¿15.00 to park on a car park outside the hotel on waste landBreakfast not included so we paid, cold toast, concentrate cheap apple juice (which we refused to pay for) abysmal.No tea making facilities, frightening bar prices. Really weird paintings all for sale around the place of an odd man with syringes in his hand Great bed, spotlessly clean.Not worth the money and the windows do not open, whilst the room temperature is good, fresh air is better. No way is this a five star hotel and I will certainly be advising the people I know who travel to Manchester of how unbelievable the experience is. ¿¿5.00 for a bucket if ice "tray charge" just so you don't forget. 5 star hmmmph! ¿¿6.00 an hour wifi laugh I nearly bought a round but not there.

Very nice hotel
I only stayed at The Lowry for the 1 night but I was impressed with the hotel and would gladly stay there again in the future.I had a lovely room on the 4th floor and it was very spacious and was more than enough room for myself. The shower was good as it was powerful, the cleanliness of the room was also very good.Whilst at The Lowry we had drinks in the Presidential suite as one of our party was staying there and I must admit the room was amazing and only something you see in the movies.The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient as we didn't have to wait long to check in or out.The breakfast was very nice and had a lot to chose from, I always prefer a good old English fry up when staying in a hotel and The Lowry's was very nice, it was a buffet breakfast so I was able to help myself to the items I love.Overall I would love to visit the Lowry again in the future, the rooms are not cheap though so would consider it for a special occasion only really.
