good choice for a short stay in Paris
For the price we paid, the hotel was quite good. The room was clean and facilities were sufficient. Hotel staff were helpful. The hotel situates 10 train-ride to the center of Paris. There is a Carrefour only a few minutes away and there are other restaurants.

I was cheated by this hotel ! Don't book here
I booked a 'Superior Suite with 1 double bed and 2 single beds'. In their policy, it was clearly written 'Free! Up to two children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds'. I went with my family (myself, my wife, sister-in-law, 2 sons (both 5 yrs) - 3 adults and 2 children under 12 yrs. But at the time of check in, they refused me to check in the suite saying at max only 4 people can stay in 1 room (regardless of adult or child). But, as per clearly written policy, my suite could take 3 adults and 2 children under 12 yrs. But they simply denied me and forced me to take another room if I wanted to stay there with my family. I had to book another room. Therefore in one suite myself and my wife and 2 sons stayed. But that way, they should have charged me less (see their price in internet) - price differs between 2 and 3 adults in the same suite. It was just terrible - they cheated me. I will not never go back and advise everyone not to opt for this.

Excellent value for money
I stayed for 2 days in a suite with my family.Excellent value for money for spending some days in Paris.Easy access to the centre of Paris by Metro.Nice personnel and good service.Parking under the hotel is available.

Very Good Hotel
We traveled for a short break with our children and have never used Novotel before. I would describe it as a very good budget hotel. The staff are very helpful and the rooms were of good size. We asked for adjoining rooms and we were accommodated without having to re-confirm.We didn't pay for breakfast as it was 14 euro each and there is a Carrefour in the shopping centre next door which offers all your fresh foods. The facilities in the room include what they state is a kitchenette - this means a kettle, microwave, fridge and a small sink (there is nothing else eg. plates,cutlery which we had taken our own). They are cleaned daily.As for the area not quite sure why it was labelled bad location - didn't they look at a map before booking it. At no stage did I feel threatened or scared whilst walking out and about the outside of the hotel. Closest Metro is Porte de Montreuil which was a 5 minute walk.This hotel is by the side of the peripherique which made it attractive for our needs as a family who had hired a car from CDG airport. It takes around 30 minutes from CDG to hotel by road, about 40 minutes to Disneyland (also by road) and around 30 minutes from Porte de Montreuil metro station to Trocadero (for Eiffel).Don't forget to add the free WiFi but if you hire a car it does cost 14 euro per day to park in the hotel and over the weekend you have no alternative as there is a market in the car park opposite the hotel.Would consider again should we visit Paris once more.

Great Hotel and helpfull staff
Stayed here for 1 night and used the Metro (5 minutes walk) to get into Paris.Clean, tidy and very helpful staff. Microwave in the room as well as tea nad coffee. Free wifi. Secure underground locked parking which was a bonus.
