Nice Hotel
It was a very nice hotel. It was originally overpriced but we were staying with a wedding group at a discounted rate which made it more affordable. We weren't in the room much but it was ok. The hallway smelled like smoke but the room was fine and the staff was very friendly.

long 7 days
the hotel staff was great...the first 3 nights of my stay were for a wedding. They were very gracious as this super exuberant crowd gathered in the lobby every evening to be together and share our joy. The next 4 days I was there on business.The pool is small, and there needs to be a sign as to where to find the spa button because it is not where one would expect it, hidden behind the towel rack! My room key had to be replaced 8 times in seven days, and I felt silly having to repeatedly go to the front desk to ask for assistance, and by the last day was quite annoyed and the problem had not been fixed. The problem was with the scanner on the door, as the keys worked fine on the outside and pool doors. I was told for 3 nights that maintenance would address, but that still had not happened by the time I checked out (but thanks for the free appetizer and ice cream). at no time was I offered a discount on my room rate.

When we arrived the young lady at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. Our room, was clean and nicely laid out. The Halls were clean and the elevators also. We would stay there again. There is a little snack area in the lobby if yu wanted a drink . Coffee and tea were always set out for visitors. The lobby had many comfortable areas in which to relax.

Twice a year stays
My friend and I vacation in Saratoga twice a year. Staff is great. Room, pool and morning paper and coffee are so welcoming. Really Like the location bkz we can walk to town and to the State Park. Parking is never a problem. Love the evening cookies.

Enjoyable stay
The Hilton Garden Inn has a very attractive lobby. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The close proximity of running trails was real plus. While near downtown Saratoga, it was still necessary to drive as the walk to downtown was over one mile.
