Central, great view*, clean, v good staff.
The location is central, the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Very comfortable bed, room and furniture. Variety of pillow weights were available. *The view over the harbour would have been exceptional but for the filthy windows outside. Air conditioner switches work 'american style' - up is ON, and the labelling has worn off, so trial and error is the best indicator of switch position. TV reception poor some channels some rooms. Cold shower on second stay. All of which when combined on the downside would see from me a 3.5 star rating, when a Langham or some Intercontintals are classed as a 5.

Mantra Darwin esplanade
Stayed a week in a studio room. Neat and spacious but unfortunately we did not have a view of the ocean. The rooms that do have a view would be spectacular. Very central location. One small block walk to Mitchell St where most of the pubs and dining are. Staff were very nice. The pool is too open for my liking. People in the restaurant can see you as can people on the footpath.No free wifi in the room. The cleaners left our door open after they left and we were not there! Luckily nothing went missing.

Modern, fresh, great location
I found the Mantra a fantastic place to stay, particularly if you get a balcony view room overlooking the Harbour as we did. Bright, fresh feel, not at all like a hotel room, good kitchen, friendly, efficient staff and walking distance to Mitchell street and with a beautiful Park over the road perfect for walking, jogging or just relaxing

Ticks all the boxes
This hotel is in a very convenient location for access to all types of shopping requirements and also opposite the fantastic park overlooking the harbour.We spent 4 nights twice and found both stays which were a month apart equally excellent for service, helpful staff, size and cleanliness of rooms and quietness for sleeping . It also has an excellent pool and surrounds which is so refreshing after a day of heat and humidity.

Good for a night or two
Stayed in the hotel for 1 night only due to business. I've stayed several times in the same area for short stays before and I'd say this hotel is comparable to the others in the area. It's functional, clean and located centrally. I had a good view of the harbour, but no balcony which was OK as I only stayed 1 night after all (room next to mine had one). I was on the 6th floor and heard no noise. The bathroom is clean and shower good. Iphone charger in the room. There's a couple of free internet PCs in the foyer. Staff I encountered were friendly and efficient. Do I have any complaints? No, not really, except it could do with a makeover. I'd stay there again for a night or two, but I'm sure there's better hotels in Darwin if you need to stay longer and want more holiday facilities.
