I stayed here on 11th may for 1 night in room 156. Very nice clean modern, no complaints other than no tea or coffee making facilitys which is very common nowadays. We found it very quite and didnt get disturbed when trying to sleep. Very close to the eurostar stations and local transport. It was very handy to be able to leave your baggage in there baggage room all day whilst your waiting for check in also on the day you leave for as long as you want, and the room is locked! Staff very helpfull. Breakfast ok, you dont get much so dont expect your full english! all you get is cereal, tea or coffee, orange juice, toast and croissants! But thats how it is in france. Yes the neighbourhood/location yes there are a few dodgy caracters that hang around the streets at night but thats how it is in cities, urinating in the streets at night is pretty common in paris aswell so nowhere smells very nice but thats just paris for you, also lots of graffitti everywhere you go but again thats paris its not a clean city never has been. Would I stay there again? Yes I would it did the job and doesnt pretend to be something its not

stayed there with my 2 children, 18 and 13 for one night. The hotel is basic, but the most important very clean. As we exposed Paris we only slept and showered there and for that purpose it was perfect. The location is very central, just 2 minutes walk to Gare De L'Est and the next metro station. We didn't have any breakfast in the hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. No problem to leave the luggage, as we arrived very early and left late in the afternoon. Value for money is adequate.

The hotel is in walking distance from the Eurostar and from the Metro station which is very helpful. It's a twenty minute metro ride to the Louvre. Wifi was great to have although only one person in your group could use the passcode at a time, but we made it work. I was traveling with two other friends and we had 3 single beds which worked out perfectly. The street the hotel was on was on made us a little nervous walking home but it was more because it was empty. It seemed like a pretty safe neighborhood. There is a police station on the street. All an all a good place to come back to so you can shower and sleep!

This was my first trip to Paris, despite travelling around the rest of France extensively.The Parisiana was our accomodation for one night as part of a package booked through an agent. However, having looked at on-line rates for the time that we stayed (May 2013), I think the Parisiana offered good value for money.The Hotel's location is only a 10 minute walk from the Gare du Nord (ideal if arriving or departing by Eurostar) and slightly less to Gare d'Est. These are the two nearest Metro stations as well. Although not located in the most beautiful of areas, myself and my wife felt comfortable walking to and from the hotel during the day and night (the hotel is located just 50m from a main 'avenue' so there are plenty of people around) but I can understand why single travellers may feel slightly unsure of the area.We chose to use the Metro to travel to the more centrally located tourist spots. The Eiffel Tower was reached in 25 minutes and the Louvre in 15 minutes. So, although I initially thought the hotel might be too far from the centre, it didn't prove to be that bad.The hotel itself appears to have been recently renovated. The reception area is compact, but is light and welcoming. The receptionist was helpful and efficient. A standard continental breakfast is served off of this area in a seperate breakfast room that seats approx. 20 people. The food was perfectly acceptable for this style of breakfast.Whilst talking about food, I should confirm that the hotel has neither a bar or restaurant. However, there are many options within a 3-10 minute walk.The room itself was compact and basic, however, it was comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a bath with over-shower- powerful with plenty of hot water. No thrills, but very acceptable at this price point. Hotel has a left luggage facility, ideal for that last day of your stay. In conclusion, this hotel doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. A good, basic choice for those who don't mind travelling a little to see the sights of Paris. Don't choose if you want extensive customer services and room service!

I do not understand why we seldom say the truth on our reviews. The Parisiana hotel is simply unacceptable. And their web site is totally misleading. The smell in the entrance was so bad that you could never stay for breakfast even if you had paid a fortune for it. Was there three days ago.
