This is a typical Ibis hotel - nothing fancy but clean and affordable. The location is quite central - close to the Piccadilly train station (about 15 mins walking - the is a free bus running on this route), next to the Chinatown area. Shopping district is also about 10-15 mins away. There are many small eateries just a few steps from the hotel (mainly Asian food and kebabs) and there is Subway (sandwiches) restaurant just next to the hotel entrance so we didn't have breakfast at the hotel (which was quite expensive). Our room was clean, not too small at all (we had a big suitcase and we easily found place to put it) and well equipped - hairdryer, tea/coffee set, flat screen tv. Our tv was a bit broken, it sometimes didn't work properly so we got free internet access as a compensation - very nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. What I didn't like: our window was facing Portland Street so it was very noisy, even if the window was closed. The bathroom was comfortable and clean but the ventilation was very poor so when you opened the door after taking a hot shower the whole room was full of steam. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as affordable and clean in good location. But if you are looking for something fancy and elegant - no Ibis hotel will meet your expectations.

Late checkout seemed not to be fully understood by the cleaner who was very keen to ensure that the guest left the room before the agreed time.The Hotel is run efficiently and reflects the brand. The TV did not work and neither did the broadline area network. This is a shame as the hotel is recommended to conduct regular maintenence checks.

excellent value for city centre hotel.Being in city centre it was a bit noisey during the night from street below but overall excellent.Great for location conference centre.Good room facilities service,very helpful

Myself and my partner stayed there for a night and got a horrible room with sheets that had holes in them and a bathroom that looked out of a NASA spaceship (Toilet and shower space all together). The location is pretty central, but really not worth what we paid.

I stayed at this hotel for one night in April 2013. I booked via the Accor "Happy Mondays" promotion and was able to get a very good rate.Upon arrival, check-in was completed very quickly and service was friendly. The reception is basic but clean and modern.The room is the same as every other Ibis worldwide - basic but clean and modern (just like the reception!). The bed was comfortable and the pillows and duvet were of good quality. The bathroom was fine.The location of the hotel is excellent, as you're within easy walking distance of all major shopping and entertainment attractions. I parked at the Q-park garage which is attached to the hotel. It wasn't cheap but was very convenient and clear. I received a discount voucher upon check-out.I was a bit concerned about possible noise given the location and the stag do crowd that seemed to make up a fair number of the customers. However soundproofing was good and I wasn't interrupted at all in the night.Overall a good value and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
