Ok Stay
We stayed for one night and found this hotel to be very average. We were upgraded on arrival to one of the refurbished/executive rooms which was lovely. We were only given 1 towel in the room but they soon brought up some more when we requested them. Downstairs they were in the middle of building works and the bar is very dated. The swimming pool didn't look inviting and the jacuzzi wasn't working. The restaurant looked really good although unfortunately we didn't get the chance to eat there. The hotel is in a good location and the staff were friendly. I wouldn't really say that it was a good 4 star but I think that it is reflected in the low cost.

My Croydon Park Hotel experience last month was a class of its own. The ability for the hotel to create a personal experience and demonstrate attention to your individual needs without stalking is amazing. The entire staff base feel like one connected (happy) family - simply amazing. My return is for sure to see the finish lobby refurbishment and definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay
We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. The hotel's staff are very helpful and extremely friendly.The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a little tired but very clean. The food was good and I would recommend the hotel for a good break

Appalling
I stayed here for 2 nights as did about 20 other people within our group, we were here for a wedding. I am local anyway but most of the people staying had travelled far. At the time we stayed they had refurb going on. No one told anyone when they booked and it wasnt well hidden. It stunk really bad of paint and there were dirty footprints everywhere. When checking in there was only 1 member of staff at front desk despite there being a que of about 8 people. When we got our room it smelt really bad of curry, seriously bad and we had to hang a wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. When we complained they were good and gave us another room for the bride but still the service you expect from croydon park was nothing like we got. The lady on reception kept getting everything wrong, sending champagne to the wrong room, and even telling the bride to be she had flowers delivered on the morning of her wedding when in actual fact they were for the room! A honeymoon suite was also booked here, on the happy couple arriving back they wouldnt let them check in until the had a card to authorise....i understand this is procedure but someone else was paying and they were not yet back from the reception, surely they could of been let in for the time being so there was a bit of hassle on their wedding night. The bed in the oneymoon suite was 2 twins pushed together!! with a big difference in mattress height. Their complimentary dipping strawberries were not dippable the chocolate was rock hard and they were suppose to recieve breakfast in bed as park of the package but they didnt get that either. Overall a terrible experience and I definately would not recommend, Holiday Inn which is about 10-15 min walk from east croydon, much better service there. I have also emailed the hotel to notify them of their faults and I havent even had a reply!!!

Excellent location and very good in all other aspects
This hotel is about a 5 minutes walk from Croydon East station and the station is very well connected to London and Gatwick Airport. Although they were in the middle of building works in the lobby area, the reception was well organised and we were given 2 excellent rooms-spacious and very comfortable. It had a comfortable bar which sold food till quite late and they also had Sky Sports on the TV which made it more attractive. The drinks were on the pricey side. The breakfast was a extensive hot and cold buffet which was good value for money if you committed the night before. From the outside, it is a modern unattractive hotel, but its interior was very well appointed. Service was efficient and friendly.
