Good all-round
Nice sea front location. It's about 10-15 minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East metro station.We got a side-view room, so a nice view across the harbour.Room is nice and the beds very comfortable.Breakfast is extra but it's a good buffet with plenty to choose from.There's a nice roof top heated swimming pool and a gym.Many bars and restaurant are only a few minutes away so it's a good location.We enjoyed our stay and couldn't find fault with anything.

Good location to explore Hongkong
good hotel, excellent staff, very nice and complete rooms but a bit small, location is great and the free shuttle bus to the ferry terminals is a good service. Great city to get a touch of china but still western culture and communication in english very easy. The city is very diverse and manysided, good bars and nightlife, good food and big markets

ok if you can get a deal
nice hotel in a good position, we got a special so the price was ok. it was a special present for our birthdays. breakfast was out of the question, as it was not included in the room they wanted $70 aud each. no matter starbjucks is a 3 min walk. i didn't want to ask for an upgrade as we already had a good discount, an upgrade onto the harbour side would of been good. so if you have the money and you want to spoil yourself stay here.

Grand Stanford not as special as before
I have traveled to Hong Kong often and looked forward to staying at the Grand Stanford if possible. This time the experience was less than remembered? Starting with check in, I was welcomed back and told I was up graded to a premier room. The rooms appears to be a regular room with a view of a brick wall. The room is next to the elevator as well, so I do hear the elevator on a consistent basis. However the room was clean. At breakfast, I had to flag down servers for coffee a few times. So it was an average hotel experience which had to compare to the experience and service I had at the Four Seasons Shanghai and lost badly.

Reasonably priced and good location
There are so many 5 star luxurious hotels in Hongkong and usually you need to break a leg or arm to be able to afford to stay there. However, Intercontinental Grand Stanford is reasonably priced. The room is nice and clean. Nothing to complain about. It's quite comfortable. The staff is friendly.The location of the hotel is quite convenient. You can make nice walks to different shopping areas. There are a few restaurants nearby including mechelin star ones and local ones. It is also close to the metro station, MRT to reach further sightseeing spots.
