Modern & efficient
We stayed in Citygate overnight for our early morning flight to Taiwan. The hotel lobby was modern and very spacious with very tall ceiling. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The front line staff were all very helpful. The lobby provided free wifi for a maximun of 20 minutes each day. The hotel was very close to the airport. The free shuttle bus to the airport ran on every 15 minutes and took less than 8 minutes. Staff or driver helped us to load and unload our luggage. The hotel room was reasonable size by Hong Kong standard, with every toiletry supply you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The room decor was modern and comfy. The bed mattress was a bit soft, not very good for people with back problem. The shower room, toilet, and the sink were all separate, so there was no fight to use the facilities. The room was quiet and we had no problem with sleeping. It was clean over all. One-cup size coffee and tea bag were provided free. water kettle was provided.The only downsize I had was no free internet inside the room. You had to pay HK$120 per day or HK$40 per hour.Some good things to consider as well: the hotel is directly connected to the Citygate Outlet Mall, the only one in Hong Kong and sells name brand, luxurious clothing as well as direct access to one of the most efficient subway systems in the world, the MTR. From here, you can basically go to anywhere in Hong Kong without a problem.This was our second stay with this hotel and we still liked it. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an overnight stay to catch a morning flight.

Always excellent service!
This is the fourth or fifth time I have stayed here. It is so convenient to the MRT but it is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of TST or Hong Kong Island.I love staying on the Premier Level where you get a free breakfast, wifi and from 6-8pm there's free drinks and nibbles as you look over the airport and the mountain range that Big Buddha sits on. You have planes, trains, automobiles and people to look at!!The hotel is situated at the Tung Chung Citygate complex so you are handy to shopping as well!The Staff are always so very friendly and very professional.

So glad I stayed, wonderful experience
Wow. I booked a standard room and was upgraded to a premier room, they didn't even tell me just let me be super surprised when I got there! Room was gorgeous, bed comfortable, view absolutely lovely, bathroom and amenities fantastic. Can u tell I'm in love? Staff lovely and attentive. The mall was great, lucky I didn't have too much time. Free shuttle to and from airport. I ate at the restaurant and the pasta was good, service outstanding and I didn't think the price was that bad considering its a hotel restaurant. Used the pool,20mts and the gym looked excellent. Overall I'm so so happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again. Pity I'm already booked elsewhere on the way home : (

GREAT HOTEL FOR BRANDED SHOPPING SPREE AND DISNEYLAND
Novotel Citygate is a very modern hotel being so close from the airport. It is only 2 MTR stations away from Disneyland. It is located next to Citygate Outlets with discounted branded shops from Coach to Kate Spade, Adidas, Timberland, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly, the bed very comfortable although my queen bed was smaller than my mom's queen bed (with booked two rooms). The cleanliness is very good. It also located next to a children's playground for your 5-12 year old entertainment. If I ever go back, I'd stay again.

Convenient For Transits
Stayed at this hotel twice due to:-1. Outlet store shopping2. Easy and free transit to HK airportWe stayed at their cheapest room for the above reason twice....it is just so convenient though not cheap at all. However, rooms are clean and their beds are very comfortable....but quite small.Will stay again if I manage to grab a room during one of their promos...or else, might consider Mariott Skycity which is much more value.
