Executive Premier Experience Vastly Inferior
Disclaimer: This review has to do with the Executive Premier level of service at this hotel and thus may not be relevant to others needs for accommodation. I generally select Novotel for travel in SE Asia and prefer the Executive Premier floor when its available. Here is what I have come to expect : 1) Dedicated check in for this level. 2) Assistance with luggage as soon as I enter the property 3) Complementary shoe shine and one clothes pressing upon arrival 4) Access to a comfortable lounge for both breakfast and evening drinks and canapes 5) Fully appointed room with all the "bells and whistles" 6) Friendly and attentive service from staff. Here is what my experience was at the Novotel Century : 1) Absolutely no assistance or offer of assistance with luggage from the moment I walked in the front door, to the trip to my room, to check out. 2) Reception by an unsmiling staff member at the Front Desk with no Executive level dedicated check-in and service that was somewhere between perfunctory and indifferent. Apparently my request for a second key card was something of an imposition for him as well. 3) No shoe shine and no clothes pressing, laundry prices somewhere North of astronomical. 4) Only one robe and one pair of slippers for a room with 2 people. 5) A lounge which is a joke. Tiny inadequate space with hors d'oeuvres to match, and staff who were more interested in getting my room number than in asking if we needed a drink or anything else. Its more like an elaborate mini-bar because its entirely self serve. I didn't even bother with this place after the first night. For all I know, this lack of service may be competitive with other hotels in Hong Kong (though I doubt it), but for me, and compared to other Novotels in SE Asia, this represented a serious waste of my money. Note to Novotel Century management: Take a sabbatical and check out whats happening at other properties in Asia. You might be surprised. Bellboys that do their job, staff that smile, lounges that aren't an embarassment, etc. etc.

Great value for Hong Kong
We stayed for 5 nights at the Novotel Century with 3 other couples and the location was very convenient to the MTR and Wan Chai Ferry Terminal. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was quite hard but managed to sleep through most nights. The breakfasts at the level 1 restaurant were great and affordable (particularly with your Accor card). There are some great Chinese Restaurants nearby and also an Italian Restaurant called Antipasto nearby that was fantastic. Good shopping around Johnson Road.

Great value nice rooms good location
This hotel is in a great location and has all the features you need for any type of visit to HK. Club rooms were great with a nice club lounge with drinks and food in the evenings included. We had a suite room which was very nice. Rooms good quality very clean. Restaurants were good. Had a poo. Will def stay here again.

i like this hotel for what it is. no pretense. perfect for the hotel of its class and offerings.
don't expect perfect luxury at this hotel. but expect what is a novotel and u will get exactly that. everything works and is very efficient. from check in to check out to free wifi in the lobby. i like the simplicity of it. location isn't that bad either. i love the little touch, like the walking guide it has in the room. or the snacks or waters, etc. sleep was also cool.

A good place to stay
The hotel i easy accessible from the airport by using the ariport express to Central and a free shuttle bus from there. If you are unfamiliar in the area the hotel might be difficult to spot if you try to find it on your own, because the sign with the hotel name is quite small. The room was surprisingly spacious with a large working desk and a reasonably fast internet connection. There are safes in every room.The hotel has a very well equipt fitness room and a small pool. There are three computers in the lobby for use by the guests.There are several options for eating, shopping and nightlife within walking distance. The nearby metro station also makes it easy to reach most of Hong Kongs attractions.
