Well that is the big question. I stayed in PI on Monday and HI on TuesdaySimple answer is if this is same price stay here.There are 150 rooms on 3 floors but in a very odd U shape with the most vile grey wallpapered pillars in the way . They really are awful.The rooms are nicer than P I. Better TVs. The beds are smaller and lower and thats suited me. I dont like the very high beds in the PI rooms. The decor is nicer and best of all the bathroom knocks spots of the PI. I especially liked the blue low level lights. No being blinded in middle of the night.Simple one touch locks to get in the room.Bonus - Breakfast is included so that saves ¿¿6 on PI. Its nothing special but coffee toast and scrammbled eggs was fine for me. PI breakfasts seemed to be ignored due to cost.Downside. NO FREE WIFI not even in the bar. no stupid is that and its ¿¿7 for 24 hors whereas PI is free 30 minutes then ¿¿3 for 24 hours. For most people the 30 mins is enough to check your email or facebook. upside ¿¿g coverage was good so I just used my phone. I could have used the free wifi in the pub next door.Overall HI is much nicer than PI. I would always prefer HI but company pays so its all down to price. Prem INN prices vary wildly depending how far in advance you book. HI seems to be ¿¿99 as standard but cheaper vai Hot deals hotel .com etc

Very Nice
If you take a look at Google Street View all you can see of this hotel is a building site. Well I'm glad to say they finished the building work. In much the same way that people living in Acton insist that it's West Chiswick or East Ealing, so this Hotel claims to be South Wimbledon, despite being almost opposite Colliers Wood Tube station. In terms of location it's not that bad in that you can get to Central London via the tube in about 30 minutes, it has parking and it's easy enough to get to by car or bus.I stayed in the recently constructed side of the hotel and the room was much better than I'd expected. I'd always though of the Holiday Inn 'Express' hotels as more motel than hotel, fighting toe-to-toe with Premier Inn and the likes. Well this room was superb, stylish and very well maintained. In fact the whole hotel was very plush and clean without being too intimidating or over-the-top.I'd certainly go again, given half the chance.

London Marathon Stop Over
This is a relatively new hotel which is directly opposite Colliers Wood Tube Station. It takes approximately 20-25 minutes via tube from Central London.I made enquiries via the online chat facility before booking to check what the "free breakfast" included, I was told it was continental and that they did not serve hot food. I was pleasantly suprised to discover this was incorrect and they did indeed serve sausages, beans and scrambled eggs. The restaurant was clean and well run.We asked for a baby cot on arrival and when we returned later in the evening it was half setup in the room, you know how you need a degree to put these things up. However there was no linen with the cot, so I had to go down and sort this out. I was oddly offered a pillow, 9 month olds don't usually have pillows in cots but I guess just an education thing.Also agree that being London the emergency services do use their sirens 24 hours a day and can be noisy in the night, with a front facing room.In all great simple and basic stay with a great breakfast that doesn't get the promotion it deserves.

Pleasant stay. Good value.
Stayed on business for one night. Room was clean and well presented. Bar/Restaurant area was nice, though service was very slow....seems the check in staff do both, or so it would appear - as i waited 10minutes to be served! Food was of a good quality, though if you didn't want to eat at the hotel there are plenty of nearby restaurants and 2 large supermarkets within walking distance. Breakfast had a decent choice of food, all self service.Hotel is right across the road from the Colliers Wood tube station, so easy access to London via Northern line. Would stay again, as good value for money.

Excellent location for visiting London
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. Hotel very clean , rooms confortable. Breakfast could be improved for europeans, we are not used to eat beans at breakfast. Maybe some cheese would do. Location is just across Collier Wood Tube Station on Northern Line and very easy to visit London. Some good restaurants in the area, and a Sainsbury supermarket.The only minus was losing my sons tedybear when the bedcloth was changed.
