Amazing Shower!
A cute little 2 story inn with every room having a harbor view. A bit of street noise. Breakfast is a pass not worthy of noting but next door the cafe has awesome breakfasts and coffee. Highly recommend 3 egg scramble with veggies, comes with roasted potatoes, homemade muffin. One serving enough for 2. The Inn could be vastly improved on with new beds and linens.

Colorful local history
I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, so it may be updated now. I stayed there because Neil Young had filmed part of his movie 'Greendale' there, and I thought it would be cool, as well as a bunch of my other friends. It was a basic motel, and at that time, much less money than it is now. The most wonderful thing is the easy access to the eatery on the corner, which must serve one of the best breakfasts I have had!!!

Cheap and cheerful
We were looking for a cheap and cheerful in HMB, where the trend is to be very overpriced. Our one night stay in room 9 was just fine. Front desk reception was excellent. The bathroom is large and the hotel has had some upgrades since other reviewers have stayed there. While the bed was only average, the pillows and sheets were nice. Towels were nice, not great. Ice Machine perfect. Continental Breakfast was OK. View of the Harbor (naturally) was also nice, and the hotel is very quiet. Parking is in the back, away from the street and pretty safe. Best asset of this hotel is the location, right in the middle of everything. Mezza Luna restaurant is just across the highway. Long walks are easy from this hotel. I would stay here again.

A little sad
We stayed here for one night for a last minute trip and although the location is nice, close to the harbor and restaurants, beaches etc. the hotel was dated and run down. The employees were pleasant and friendly, the breakfast was basic but enough to hold us until lunch and they had trays so we could take it to our rooms and we had a bit of a view while we ate. The bathroom was the worst part, curling linoleum, painted over stains, cheap towels.

Agreed with other reviewers!
Room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is tired and the fan and heater light switches are US. The paint in the bathroom needs repainting and had discolored paint above the shower. However this place is not over priced in my opinion and is very close to the restaurant next door Flavor which is well worth a visit Our Hertz car had some sort of electrical malfunction luckily the girl at reception had jumper leads and was prepared to assist us the next day.No road noise or fog horn kept us awake. The bed was fine compared to the previous night.
