Wonderful hotel for a surprise stay!
Surprise because I had to overnight because of a flight cancellation. Very impressed with this hotel. Check in was quick, room large and clean, comfortable bed, also sofa, desk & chair, 3 plug ins for electrical which is a real bonus, great lighting in the bathroom and I really liked the colour of the counter in there...it made it so much easier to see what was on the counter so you didn't forget anything.I left too early for breakfast but did have lunch in the bar area which was super! and dinner later on that evening at the buffet. Now what was neat about that is that the tables for one have a small t.v. on the wall with a set of headphones so you can sit there and watch the telly if you so choose. Food was fine at the buffet with lots to choose from - great salads.There is free wifi on the lobby floor, and a lovely terrace outside the bar area that you can sit out on as well. They als had a really nice gym for those who use them.

Great location for visiting London
We stayed at the Novotel in Hammersmith for one night with two children. Having lived in the area for many years we knew the location was ideal. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from an underground and bus network and Heathrow can be reached in 30 minutes, as can most parts of central London.Our room was booked via a booking site at a very reasonable rate and we were extremely happy with our room. While it was compact for four of us, and the two children were tight on the sofa bed, the room and bathroom were well laid out, clean and comfortable. We opted for a room only rate as we knew we could get breakfast nearby in numerous cafes.The hotel is busy and seems to be popular for stopovers by flight crews and tourists from Heathrow. Despite it being so busy, we found the staff to be helpful and a request for extra towels was dealt with quickly with no fuss.

Food was excellent
This is a very substantial well placed hotel with easy access to the m4 m25 corridor. My room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the ground floor reception smooths access in and out. There are actually two receptions on the first and ground floor I assume because of the size, scale and magnitude of the premises.My highlight was the food which was out of this world. I had huge pieces of lamb and a choice of virtually anything to go with it. I followed it up with a cheese board and some fudge brownies. Breakfast I choose a Singapore dish of noodles and a fried egg on top. You have to go there if only for the food.It clearly caters for every Nationality and was busy with tourists from East and West.Top marks fron me. It was a business trip and Pre paid so can't comment on price . Whatever it was it was worth it!

Ok for the price
Price was fair, room a good size, nespresso coffee in executive room.No free wifi, air conditioning that does not work ( room far too hot), walls quite thin ( could hear neighbours getting in at 1 am).I was on a reduced rate on business; would have been extremely disappointed if I had been on the full rate.
