You get what you pay for
We flew into SFO really late at night with our 2 young kids, so I booked this place for 1 night so we could get them in bed ASAP after landing. Admittedly, we don't stay at many Travelodge type places so my point of reference is a little off, but it kind of made me itch. Carpets were worn, shower door handle was broken, bathroom was tiny and the laminate floor had holes in it. Eek. I had to use one of my barrettes to hold the 2 curtain edges together so people walking by couldn't look in on us sleeping. Beds were fine and no bed bugs. On a positive note, there is an IHOP attached to the hotel which was very convenient. Total price was $71 for 4 of us, so I probably shouldn't complain. Place was completely full.

Worth spending an extra $15 somewhere else
I'd like to preface this message by saying my boyfriend and I have stayed in hostels, motels, and hotels in places all over the world including developing countries on a very low budget. We aren't picky travelers, and we have never thought it was necessary to write a review until now. The biggest frustration is arriving at the hotel that we had booked online earlier that day reserving a king bed in a non smoking room and being put into a smoking room with a queen size bed. When I told the receptionist that my boyfriend gets headaches from the smoke her response was along the lines of hope it's not too bad. We tried to air out the room with a poorly functioning air conditioner and by opening the window which had no screen on it. Having a screenless window on the first floor is bad enough, but we had just seen two policemen searching a car and hotel room three doors down from us. Needless to say we got little sleep. The next morning we were able to change rooms, but the shower in the new room still had mold in it like the shower in the old room. Our air conditioner in the new room didn't have a working plug. We chose this Hotel because my boyfriend had stayed there before and didn't think anything was wrong with it. But really there were no perks except for maybe the ok continental breakfast. The kicker was getting the bill at check out when you had all the hidden expenses added. The cost online said it would be $66 per night for a king size non smoking room (which we only had for one night), and I ended up paying at least $10 more per night than expected. I would have rather stayed in a hotel that cost $10-$15 more and got what I had asked for in the first place. One upside was the bed in the nonsmoking room was a lot more comfortable than in the smoking room. Through the whole process the staff was not very helpful or sympathetic to our needs. They just told us that even if we booked a specific room online we could only get what they had available at the time of check in. Then what's the point of booking online? Their communication with the websites need to be better. Like I said we aren't negative people and we aren't picky. We just want the rest of you to know that you might want to pay a little more for a better hotel. That's what we will be doing when we come back to the SFO area.

Our room looked like it had just been redone. Very clean. We were in building one which is good because it does not back up to the freeway as some of the buildings did. Also there were no rooms above so it was quiet. Rate included a complimentary continental breakfast. IHOP is located here also. Free wi fi in the rooms but a charge to use computers in lobby. City bus just outside the property. The only down side is they will not hold luggage on check out for more than 2 hours. We had 14 hours before our flight.

The room was awful
The walls had stains, the boards were rotting. If I hadn't if paid already or could of gotten a refund I would of left. Those rooms need a major makeover. I stay In hotels atleast a few times a week and this was by far the worst room I've ever seen. I know I won't be returning.
